Pick up and Drop off when very smoothly, agents were welcoming and friendly. There was a bit of confusion over where to meet the shuttle at the airport. Written directions to the shuttle location would have been preferred rather than finding the video and trying to watch it and navigate the airport. Camper was easy to operate and came with everything we needed for our adventure. The condensation in the back was a bit of an issue, would have been nice if one of the back windows opened. But otherwise no complaints, we had a fantastic trip around the ring road.

Car was very loud inside. Thumbing Noise. We were worried. LAVA Car did not answer calls and Emails for 3 days. Finally we called the number of Airport Arrival and were connected to the office. AD BLUE was also Not filled up. Alarmsign. Only After this Information LAVA Car kept constantly asking whether we did fill up AD Blue. Not easy in the Mountains with only Self Service. The remote expert Evaluation of the noise was to check unfixed seats or the extra tyre. No. Fine. Still loud thumbing Noise. Bringing back the car we were told, we should have read the Information about refilling AD Blue in a small leflet. Mentioning the Bad Communication (3 days silence) LAVA car apologized and refunded the extra driver 12.000 ISK.

Everything’s was really good, the only feedback would be that as you are an intermediate, when we arrived for pick up at lava rental car, they make us feel that it was a mistake to select you instead of doing it directly with them, not with exact words, just the impression, in the moment we arrived, they make us clear that as we didn’t reserve directly with them, we are not fully protected (types of insurance), we read and try to understand everything, and seems that everything was the same, it’s just the way the manage it.
