The car and experience with MYCAR was exceptionally good. Everything went on as expected by me and they have been able to adjust its service to some constrains with my trip.

Dear Mr. Þórarinsson, Thank you for your message and for giving me the opportunity to share my experience. Iceland is a beautiful country and the trip overall was wonderful. The rental vehicle (Renault Trafic Camper Automatic, 2022) was in decent technical condition, and the handover service initially felt friendly. Unfortunately, my overall impression was severely impacted by a serious issue: Upon return, I was charged €1,371,45 for damage to the right front bumper that was clearly present before my rental. This damage had been deliberately covered with a thin layer of black paint, making it impossible to detect during the pickup inspection. Only after washing the vehicle did the paint come off, revealing the underlying white and blue layers of the damage. Despite my explanation and photographic evidence, I was forced to pay the amount on the spot under the threat of calling the police. I consider such practices unprofessional and unacceptable. I sincerely hope that Northbound will ensure that partners like Rijo Campers do not engage in such behavior in the future and that customers are protected from such unjustified charges. Had an excellent experience with MYCAR, pickup was seemless, they provided a shuttle from the airport to the vehicle pickup location. Staff were friendly and easy to deal with, overall I would use them again!

Perfect for our vacation. However for the price there where to many defects or worn out parts in de motorhome.

La location s'est bien passé mais au retour l'agence de location nous a facturé un pare-brise 130000 isk pour un impact à peine visible à l'oeil nu. Je ne suis pas sur que cet impact n'était pas déjà present. De plus, je n'ai pas encore reçu la facture pour pouvoir faire la déclaration auprès de l'assurance

we rented a campervan for two for 8 days. the nicest people in the world picked us up at the airport on time. the car worked great. it had a decent music system and nice camping equipment including gas for the stove. we also got coffee. 10 out of 10. i have nothing to complain about. the best!

Hello, the car was fine. Driving was good. Only the car was a little wet in the beginning but it dried after some days. The service might be slightly friendlier. We were not so happy with the insurance. That this one we booked online upfront was not so good evaluated from Icerental and they "adviced" to also sign their own. So in the end we had the feeling we pay twice. Because should we be smarter than the company who is renting us the car? Additionally the pick up from airport was different to this what we expected. They only picked up the driver but we were travelling with three children (five in total). So also not so easy with handling of baggage and drive pack to airport. After the one week with Dacia (and a house) we also rented now a camper at Happy Campers. There we have better experiences. Nice regrads, Jan
