Excellent
The car was a little bit old and damaged but was tenically okay, we had a very good experience driving about 500 km in 1,5 day, visiting the most important highlights in the south and the golden circle. The service and the check-in and check- out went smooth and super friendly, highly recommended to hire a car from Lotus Car Rental. Wil Metselaar

Outstanding!
Service was fast and efficient, met the needs of the customer. The car was in good conditio and worked great. We toured the Iceland (with western fjords) without any problem.

Overall, I had a great experience here. I had some issue with the car at first (there was a component that was a bit quirky in starting it, but it was my mistake and definitely not an issue with the car) and got stuck 20 mins from the airport. But I called Lotus and asked them to help - someone came out promptly and kindly showed me how to start correctly. After that the car was fantastic! And I really appreciated Lotus’s gracious and fast service. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a good rental car!

I did not get a Kia Creed Wagon but received a Subaru Forester which drove well but significantly raised my gasoline cost. The passenger front door was previously damaged and was not repaired properly. We also had a leak in the passenger front tire and had to have it patched. The tire was terribly worn and needs to be replaced. This information was conveyed to Lotus. The Forester drove well overall but is an expensive rental because of high cost of gasoline in Iceland.

Very good experience, the price-quality ratio was good. The rental agency has been honest telling us the risk on Icelandic roads (headlights, speed limits, pebbles, gas stations...). Only a little negative point : We thought that the car uses a lot of gas.
