Outstanding!
Our rental experinece was awesome. The car was great. We had specific requirements to accomodate our travel needs. There was ample space for alll four adult passnegers and 8 pieces of luggage. Both the pick up and return from the off site rental office went smoothly.
Any time we emailed a question the response time was quick and informative. The rental cost was very reasonable. I highly recommend this company

The size of the car was perfect for 2 people, especially when parking you had advantages. It was also very comfortable on longer journeys and the fuel consumption was very low at around 4 litres per 100 km. You could also drive it on gravel roads without any problems. I can highly recommend this car.

The Toyota Proace minivan was the perfect size for our group of 5 adults and all gear necessary for a two weeks driving trip in Iceland. The diesel vehicle worked perfectly and had very good fuel economy. Northbound's customer support was exceptional. They responded to emails very promptly and when we needed to adjust our rental dates they were also quick to assist. Excellent service! Unfortunately the service we received from Mycar, the actual rental car agency, was not as good as Northbound. When we picked up the vehicle we were not informed about the fuel discount tags attached to the vehicle key fob. We learned about them only after return the car which didn't do us any good.

We had a great experience with MyCar (and Northbound) who responded to all my questions in a timely and accurate manner. We met with the pick up service in the location as indicated. I know that MYCAR has some "strict" pick up and drop off hours, so it might not be for everyone, but for us it was OK. They waited for us even though we were a few minutes late coming out of the airport (good idea to pick up some alcohol before leaving customs if you want to), but it was also something like 2AM in the morning. The car was as expected and we did not have any trouble the whole trip (we also didn´t do anything crazy or unpermitted). Drop off was easy and the staff was kind enough to check on the spot if we had any outstanding tickets to pay (so no surprise email later). The price for this car was the best that we had found. We were 4 adults with 1 large luggage, 2 carry-ons, and 4 backpacks.

Great car, great service, nice people. The only thing is that a tiny dent on the trunk cost me $1200. Extremely high for the quarter sized dent that was left. Luckily insurance was helpful, but just something to note.

I was extremely impressed with MYCAR. Great vehicle, great price, superb customer relations and process (exceptionally pleasant and helpful staff).I would suggest the signage at the Reykjavík return site be more visible; I had some difficulty finding it. I hope MYCAR prospers, and look forward to using them again.

The car was great! Very comfortable to drive and handled the Iceland terrain very well. I was happy with the hybrid as well with pretty good fuel economy. It had just the right amount of room for my wife and my luggage and our road trip necessities.
