Hi, The car we were given was a Ford Kuga which was lovely. Parking in central Reykjavik was never a problem mainly because we planned to leave before the parking restrictions started in the mornings and we returned towards the end of each day so we could park and leave the car overnight. The main issue for me was the distance to the Reykjavik office. I did consider paying to have the car delivered to the hotel, but decided to take a taxi there instead.

We were upgraded on the car that we originally hired upon arrival which was very nice. We did get the full protection for the car which was a little pricey but didn't want any unexpected costs. Overall very good.

The whole rental experience was simple, easy and the vehicle performed perfectly on our 2 week trip. Airport pick up was great and they dropped us off at our hotel when we had an early flight. The car didn't have to be washed, only tidy which was very convenient.

Excellent. The car type was as ordered, a Subaru XV. The pickup from the airport and delivery of the vehicle went smoothly and I was on my Iceland adventure with no delays. The same can be said of the drop off and shuttle to the airport. The car itself performed well for our 2 week hire and we were very pleased we used Northbound and Icerental 4x4.

The car was a perfect size for our needs. The staff at Go was so kind and helpful, they made for an easy pick-up and drop-off. The car itself is definitely not suitable for long distance, WINDY drives due to its lack of aero-dynamics. It was difficult to keep the light and boxy car on the road while managing the speed limit, taking it slower in the higher winds out East.

We were a group of four adults, touring the south west, it was a perfect sized vehicle for us. There was an issue with a rear seat belt which unfortunately wasn’t rectified.

Hej Ívar, The Jimny was a great car and exactly perfect for our trip. The winter tires with spikes were super for the icy roads in the north and this little car is a good buddy on the gravel roads. He made all the time a good Job. :)

It was the perfect solution for us

The car was ideal for our road trip across Iceland. It handled all the roads well and had enough space for all our luggage, as well as 4 adults. The heated seats, air conditioning and bluetooth music options were also very useful. Also the pickup and drop off service from the airport was very smooth. We landed earlier than expected and still managed to pick the car up early without any issues. The whole process was very smooth, and we didn't have any issues, highly recommend Northern Lights!

Everything was fine. Ring was very professional and punctual. The car was new and no problem at all.

Outstanding customer service from start to finish. Unfortunately we had a puncture but the regular support and help from George was superb. Finding several garages on our route to repair the tyre and being available both quickly and out of hours. Thank you George. I wouldn’t use anyone else other than Northbound for car hire in Iceland

The booking over Northbound was pretty easy... and this good experience continues when getting the car from Ring. This car rental company is very friendly, quick and uncomplicated. Next time we will travel to Iceland, we would again bool over Northbound a Ring rental car. Thx a lot...

I am very satisfied with the car I chosen (Dacia Duster Manual). It worked perfectly on Icelandic roads, was very comfortable and in perfect technical condition. The service at Go Iceland is very professional. Before we picked up the car, we received a lot of helpful information about driving on Icelandic roads and safety. I can definitely recommend this company and I will use their services in the future.

Car was great. Pick up and drop off quick and easy.

I got a Fiat Doblo. Everything was as expected. Rental was smooth. Would have like to have more info in Go Campers (websites, itineraries, how parking works, apps)
