Lotus Car Rental is apparently a smaller, Iceland based car rental, preferable to the big international companies. Friendly service. Dacia Duster is a robust and easy-to-handle 4WD car. If I next come to Iceland I'll also choose Lotus.

Great price, easy to pick up and drop off, reliable vehicle. When my flight was cancelled, they were accomodating to my new pick up time. Recommend this company.

Northbound and Lotus were amazing - super prompt communication from both and the rental process couldn't have been easier. The staff at Lotus were great and the car was perfect for our trip! We are planning on returning to Iceland for another trip in a few years and will 100% be using Lotus again.

Everything about the rental process was perfect. The agents were extremely helpful and responsive and even managed to help me correct a mistake in my own booking. When I arrived at the agency, everything went smoothly, picked up my vehicle with all the bonus additions and hit the road in a matter of minutes. The car was wonderful and the experience was one of the best I've ever had in all my travels. It was great...reliable comfortable

Great car rental experience. It was actually my first time renting a car, let alone renting internationally. It was such an exciting thing to be out on the open road in Iceland, so a rental is a myst for adventurers. The agent knew the difference between using cars (automatic) in the US vs Iceland which made the nuanced transition so much easier. Great pricing, easy to return, since it’s right at the airport. And everyone’s so kind and helpful.

Lotus Car Rental was a pleasure to work with. We got the car in 5 minutes (returned back even faster). Basic driving instructions were short and to the point. The car (Toyota Aygo) was a great fit for he two of us, its gas consumption is low and it's comfortable to navigate main roads. We didn't spend much time in big cities, but I think it's one of the best choices for Reykjavík with its narrow streets and tight parkings. The coffee coupons were a nice surprise.

The experience with Lotus Car rental was great. The check-in process as well as check-out was very comfortable and quick. We were upgraded, since the car category, we originally booked, wasn't available. We would book with Northbound any time in the future again.

I have been to Iceland more than 25 times, and rented cars fom different companies. This time I got a very good car with automatic gears and GPS from Lotus Car Rental.
