Outstanding!

We had the most incredible road trip around Iceland and found something amazing around every corner. Northbound's platform rent and Star Car Rental were great. Always replying quickly to any questions I had. The only thing I would change is having a few more days. 7 days was abit of a rush!

Our rental had everything we needed for our stay in Iceland and made it easy to get around and experience the country. Having a heater was especially helpful and it was nice and cozy while we slept.

An excellent experience all the way through, start to finish. Their responses to my many email questions were thorough and prompt. Pickup at the airport was prompt, the gentlemen walked around the arrival hall with a board displaying my name. He found me getting coffee. I appreciated him going that extra mile, all the other pickup persons were just standing in one place waiting. I had a few issues while on the road, customer support was quick. The vehicle itself was in good condition and was easy to drive. I would recommend the company without hesitation.

Outstanding!

Worked really well; was ideal for four of us with all the luggage fitting in the back just right, and for the gravel and dirt roads you have to go through to reach some of the sights. Built-in gps worked good and WiFi hotspot was very, very useful. Diesel was very efficient.

We had a really good time in Iceland with the Dacia Dokker Camper. It's perfectly equiped for some days/weeks of camping. The staff was very nice and the service very good.

Great experience! I was staying in the campground near airport, I asked to pick up a car there and the company delivered it to me. The car was in perfect conditions, I didn't have any issues with it. I would strongly recommend this company.

Our experience with Star rentals was smooth and perfect. I’d booked a discovery sport but was upgraded to a Toyota Land Cruiser for 4 of us. We were met at the airport and taken to Stars office a few minutes away and had no issues with the car or travelling around Iceland. The car was dropped off at one of northstars rental houses and we were driven back to departures a few minutes away. In addition there is a fuel station Close to the house to fill up prior to drop off. I would have no hesitation in using again.

My experience with Star Car Rental was phenomenal. The pick up and drop of service at KEF international was smooth and helpful, especially after a long flight. The 3-person van was almost brand new and perfect for our adventures around the ring road. Three pillows, a sheet, cooking supplies and bins for food were included with the vehicle. There was plenty of storage under the bed for luggage and adventure materials. We slept three in the back without any problems, of course there was some snuggling, but the body heat was helpful! Overall, a great experience with the people and a great vehicle to travel around Iceland.

Outstanding!

We booked Duster 4WD and we were very satisfied with this car rental. On airport they waited us with name tag, gave tips about Iceland, car was extremly clean and during our trip we had no problem with it. Drop off the car was also quick and easy in Keflavik. If I decide to go to Iceland next time, I would pick them again :) Thanks.

Outstanding!

Very good - we were met on time at KEF and returned to the airport quickly when we returned the car. The car was clean and performed well, and I appreciated Star's pragmatic approach to minor damage - in fact the agent pointed out existing damage to us. The car had sufficient room for four adults and luggage, and was comfortable to drive. It seemed quite economical - in fact fuel seems to be one of the few (relatively) cheap commodities in Iceland. A couple of very minor points - the GPS / satnav maps should be updated to include new road construction (including Star's office at Vallaras 21, although that was in the destination history) and it would have been useful to point out the speed limiter.

We had a great experience with Star Car Rental. They picked us up from the airport drove us to the rental place which was short drive and set us up with a brand new Dacia Duster. Great car for driving around Iceland. We dropped off car at their Rental location and were dropped off again right at the airport. Great service easy in and out.
