Lotus Car Rental in Iceland

Very nice car. Easy to drive. You need to check the insurence level with Lotus since I thought I had SW (in your ad) but It was only CW. Had to buy their Gold insurence to get a proper security. Otherwice no problem at all. Staffan at Lotus were briljant.

Didn’t love the Jeep but the service at Lotus was great.

All went as planned. Very happy with the car and the rental company. Laura was very helpful.

The car had some minor problems (reported at dropoff) but served us very well. Your process for making and changing reservations worked very well.

Everything was very well and we enjoyed the good Service.

Bonjour Accueil sympathique de la part de l entreprise. Nous avons été pris en charge à l aéroport pour aller à quelques kilomètres pour récupérer le véhicule. La jeep est amusante à conduire mais un peu juste pour trois personnes. Aucun problème à la restitution , nous avions pris l option avec toutes les assurances, ce que je conseille vu certaines routes d islande. Je repartirais sans doute avec lotus. FE

The folks at Lotus car rental couldn’t have been any nicer! Loved the Dacia Duster with the tent on top. It was easy to drive, very comfortable, and plenty of space.

Perfect experience especially with the last minute changes required for our booking. Everything worked out smoothly and customer support was amazing with the allowing for the flexibility

Simply perfect. We had a new car, perfectly working. Managed commuting from/to airport in few minutes and pick up /drop off just took 10 minutes. Nothing better than this. Well done guys!

The service from Luton was excellent, fast, friendly and very easy. Both to pick up and to return. The Xeed Kia was a very nice car to drive, it had plenty of space for our large bag and carry on and backpacks. Ideal for low consumption.

Best car rental company I've ever had experience with and I had 5 different on Iceland so far. We've got brand new shiny car which is great to drive whole island around including some F-roads as well. Clear rules of full 0-excess insurance that covers practically everything, including windshields and river crossing. It was very nice they even gave us free unlimited wifi. Everything was perfect from the pickup to the dropoff. I highly recommend that company and I will definitely use their services again in the future.

Lotus are a professional and efficient team. Our car was in perfect condition and we appreciated having the option to select a guaranteed model; At drop off the staff requested I go back and fill the tank, but it only needed 2 liters; I thought this could have been accommodated; since i had rented the car for 10 days. I would use northbound and lotus again and recommend both to anyone traveling to iceland.

It was great! The lane assist is a little funky and we had an issue getting the gas tank to show as full but other than that we loved the car! Lotus Car Rental is by far the best car rental experience I’ve ever had. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful

I ended up getting an upgrade to have more room. It was a painless change and the people and the vehicles are wonderful! I will definitely rent from them when I go back.

The experience was excellent from the start. We arrived early at 4.30am our pickup was there waiting there for us had been watching the fights times, we were in the car tearing down the road on our adventure within the hour. Lotus was the best I could find that included most of the insurance u needed which sucks how these companies and in Ireland do the insurance, just package deal the whole thing break the norm. Anyways the best thing about lotus apart from the staff was we did not have to leave a down payment on our credit card like other companies charging up to $2,800 after buying insurance. Well done lotus will be back. Don’t be turned off about them being of site from the airport it’s literally 2min drive but worth it 😊

I have read very good reviews about this company on the Hungarian Iceland Travelers Facebook group. This was the primary reason for my choice I (and we) had excellent experiences. The conditions are correct. The staff were very kind. We received a totally new car, which was perfect for us. We travelled around the country and we had more than 4000km. We did not have any difficulties. (Avg fuel consumption was 5.3 l/100km). The price was cheaper (or the same) than other good options. It is strange but is true, the fee for weeks equals 10% of the price of this car in Hungary... :-) I warmly recommend this firm!!!

The car is new and the staff are friendly, only one thing can improve is to adding charging cable since many charging stations are either in wrong type or without cable, the fuel is certainly costing much more than the electricity and environment!
