Lotus Car Rental in Iceland

All very good - a reliable car, nice to drive. The clutch sometimes stuck to the floor little bit.

It worked out well for us. It having Apple Carplay support really helped out for turn by turn directions and entertainment

Lotus was great. Super service and very kind personal service.

Excellent drive and van fitted perfectly our needs. We were a group of 8 people all with one hand luggage and a backpack. Ample seating space and also very spacious luggage booth. The van had just 4.5k km - practically new!

The Lotus Car people are very nice, genuine, direct and friendly. The whole process from pickup, to taking the car, to dropping it off, and being driven back to the airport was seamless. I liked that they had a sense of humor and spoke like normal human beings.

Lotus Car Rental staff were great to work with! Drop off was very fast. We rented the camper tent duster and it did a great job of keeping us dry and warm. A few areas that could be improved: 1) The stability of the ladder used for climbing into the camper tent could be better. It did not lock well and it is was dewy in the evenings and mornings making it treacherous to climb on. 2) The kitchen box was not very good. The stove did not work and was very out dated. 3) I called ahead of time and asked if bedding was included, and the response I got was yes. However, that was only a fitted sheet and pillows/cases. No comforter, sleeping bags, or blankets. We ended up buying a sleeping bag, which we could have just originally brought with us if the information we had been told and is on the website would have been more thorough.

Car drove well and was comfortable. Staff at Lotus was WONDERFUL. We had an issue with the car and they responded and resolved the issue right away. They were kind and helpful though the whole process. They definitely went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and comfortable.

The company changed us to a Toyota Rav 4 once they saw that the Vitara would be small for our party.

Alle dort waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Abholung sowie die Rückgabe war vollkommen problemlos und der Shuttle Service hat super geklappt. Ein wenig enttäuscht waren wir, als man uns das Auto mit Sommerreifen vermietet hatte. Das wäre so vorgegeben. Ab Mai Sommerreifen. Wir waren schon öfter auf Island und so etwas ist uns noch nie passiert. Selbst der Suzuki, der direkt neben uns stand, hatte noch Winterreifen. Da wir wussten, dass man kurzerhand kein anderes Auto bekommt, haben wir es für 14 Tage genommen und es hat uns fast überall problemlos (etwas mehr PS wären von Vorteil gewesen) hingebracht. Bei der nächsten Buchung werden Winterreifen schriftlich gewünscht.

Everything was perfect. The Team from Lotus Car Rental was very professional, helpful and friendly. Rental car was also in a good condition. There was nothing to complain and we would choose this company always again.

The car was new and good for 2 of us to drive around even the up hills.

When we arribed they changed us the car, we must have a Toyota aygo and finally they gave us a Dacia Sandero, we think that’s a good change. Everything was fine with northbound, the car and Lotus rental car! 100% recomendable.

A very nice car, it worked perfectly for our trip. Being a hybrid it also saved on gas without sacrificing power.
