They give me a subaru instead which was smaller

I had heard about northbound from a blogger and when i compared prices i could get a better car for less money and with the same protection plan. The company were great and amended some changes i had before even getting there. The hand over was smooth and the man even gave us some advice about iceland at pick up. No problems with the car whilst we had it. When dropping the car back they allowed us to drop back early and the man was happy and polite asking us about our trip. Great service and no complaints

It was a VERY GOOD experience, the car I rent is the car I got, the car is like NEW. very clean, the tires are also in a VERY good condition. The only thing I have to complain about is why they don't release my deposit of $3500 at the same time they get the car back like all other company's, I still waiting for the cancel on my Visa for that Besides, that is Fantastic

Fara did an excellent job and exceeded our expectations. We received a Subaru XV instead of the Hyundai Tucson. This wasn't a big deal as the Subaru was an AWD and met our needs. The customer service was excellent.

I liked the car good. I like to have a little big car, when I am renting a car. Had a littel problem with the locking off the car, but it was running perfectly. Very nice people at the car rental company.

Wasn’t given the Jeep- given a suburu- was fine but not what I thought we were getting

I wass very with the professional and helpful approach I had booking the vehicle. This started online to the moment we collected the vehicle to its return. Even having to change the times of the booking due to Wow air going bankrupt after making the booking they were very accommodating. The representatives who dealt with us on arrival and departure were very helpful and offered us some very helpful tips before we set off. Overall I would recommend them to anyone ese traveling to Iceland and will use them again. I will be back!

Last 2 weeks we have rent a Jeep Compass from Fara. When we arrived on the airport they pick us up and bring us to there company (10 min. drive) and we got the Jeep. The people who help us were very kindly and helpfull and had some good advices how to drive in Iceland. We had with the Jeep a very comfertable car and we had a good trip without any trouble. If you will rent a car om Iceland I can recomman you to do this by Northbound / Fara. You can rent a car for a good price and they pick you up on the airport and bring you back after your holiday. The Check-In and Check-Out procedure was very quick and easy. Renting a car is stressful when you are in a new place, but they will tell you all you need to know to get you on the road. I think that renting a 4x4 vehicle will put your mind at ease if you do a lot of driving and want to be spontaneous. I have had friends who have had to add 2 hours to their drive because they were unable to get to their hotel (their economy sized car couldn't get them there). Get a decent sized car and forget all the worries. Overall satisfied with the rental -- had an issue with a service light that came on during the trip -- but turned out to be nothing. It was easily resolved after calling the office. I loved check-out. It was fast and no rush to get to the airport. Would use again! Thanks!

Experience was great. There was timely pick up and quick setup of the rental agreement. The\y did not have the car that we had originally booked so they gave a a different bigger car. The only thing was the car was not that great, it was pulling to the right slightly so we had to be careful all the time while driving. Otherwise, everything else was great. The staff was friendly and cooperative.

Vehicle preformed great and was a very comfortable ride. WiFi worked well too. Plenty of room for our group and a decent amount of baggage space as well. Rental process once we got to Iceland went well also. Would definitely recommend.

It was ok, but a missing plastic underbody (I lost it when I crossed a river) was too expensive. I had to pay 362 € - in my country is 150 €. And I missed a beep sound when reversing.

We got upgraded to a jeep compass as the tucson had been crashed by the previous customer which worked out for us. Experience and service were nice. Only issue i had was no information beforehand about the 2800 security deposit needed while renting the car, a lot of money to need to have with no notification

The vehicle was great. Ideal for 6 comfortably and up to 9 if necessary and if there are not too many big luggages. AWD is preferred for driving in Iceland.

We rented a Fara 4x4 for a recent trip on the Iceland Ring Road. From start to finish everything was great. Runar greeted us at the airport and drove us to the rental car center which was only a short distance away. The car we were given was a Mitsubishi Outlander, which served us well during our stay. Great staff and service. Would highly recommend, and will definitely book with Fara again on our next trip to Iceland.

I have to share the exceptional support I received from Adam from Fara. We started our journey to Iceland with a major setback as our fight operator had gone into liquidation. Which meant we had to rearrange everything including flghts, hotel and car hire. Adam was very prompt in responding to my mails and helping me out at every step, even though if was all over the weekend. It really meant a lot in that time of confusion and being supported. Would happily recommend Fara to all my friends and family visiting Iceland. Truly exceptional customer service.

Friendly and professional service. The car we rent was in good shape and capable to handle all the tasks we gave. The company also offers free shuttle service from/to the airport. Although we did not know, something worth to mention is that this company provides Chinese service as well. Documents are all in English / Chinese, and people work there speak fluent English(we actually met one lady who works there speak native level Chinese when we returned the car). 服务很好，并且支持中文服务，也接受支付宝/微信付款。有工作人员会讲中文，并且很多文件也有中文翻译。免费附带机场接送。
