Great car.

Hello, My rental began with an Ad Blu sign on the dashboard on the day of the pickup. Nobody on the pickup desk at 4 pm. It continued with an engine breakdown due to the Ad Blu on the road with hardly someone to talk to. A night in a cottage at our own expense because the car was fixt at way past 9 pm with no offer to pick up the tab from the rental company.... And the drop off : no one on the phone or somewhere... A disaster

We actually got upgraded to a Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross 4x4. Very capable vehicle for our trip. Very satisfied.

Amazing car rental experience with Star. Professional and friendly from start to finish, with airport transfers included. We chose the Suzuki S Cross which was well-suited to the regular and gravel roads we travelled on throughout our 10 day stay. Car was well maintained and started with a full tank of petrol. Would definitely recommend Star and will be using them next time we travel to Iceland. The seat warmers and aircon were much appreciated in the cold!

Hello Ivar! Thank you for providing an excellent vehicle! We achieved excellent fuel mileage with it! As to the Thrifty staff, they were great! When the windshield cracked from the rock impact, they cleared us with no additional cost, because we had purchased the full coverage insurance. We are planning a second trip to Iceland, as our initial trip was interrupted by the hurricane force winds and snow. We will use Northbound for that trip as well!

The car is great, it did well on dirt roads. The rental company quickly prepared the car and picked up. I bought a platinum insurance package and didn't worry about anything. I will probably rent again from this place in the future. Employees in Northern Lights also speak Polish.

The car itself was great and drove nicely. Pick up went well, but nobody was holding a sign of northbound so that was a bit confusing. However, we rented the car with roof tent and the tent wasn't of the best quality. There were little holes in the tent, which made it difficult to stay warm. There was no inner lining of the tent available, so we couldn't use that to make the tent warmer. Additionally, we rented sleeping bags with you guys, expecting they would be sufficient for Icelandic weather. Unfortunately, these were not very thick, so this didn't really prevented us from becoming cold. We ended up using some plastic sheet to create some sort of extra tent layer, a fleece blanket and a sleeping bag liner to remain warm during the night. So that was a bit unfortunate.

We have loved to travel with this car, especially with the rooftent. Easy camping. A rather comfortable tent. Unfortunately it was advised by ice rental 4x4 not to use the tent in the storms of our first week (1-8 june) and we needed to book hotels. Extra unforeseen costs. We advise you to explain that better in advance during booking.

Very nice car. We were the first ones to drive it. The staff was very nice and even offerd us a ride back to ouer ship. They very kindly gave tips on how to drive in iceland and which insurence are necessary, so we felt prepared for our holiday. The whole process of renting the car went very smoothly.

A capable mini car for the different road conditions of Iceland.

Everything went picture perfect with the Toyota Proace rental experience. Car was basically new and perfectly clean and met all the needs of the 4 of us and our luggage. The MyCar offices were very convenient to our cruise ship dock and the airport. All staff members we dealt with were very pleasant and helpful. Price for the vehicle was fair and reasonable. Great experience overall and perfect vehicle for our trip.

The vehicle was in good working order. The heater and refrigerator both worked well. We were surprised to find out there was an additional fee to wash the van on the return. We were told about this when we picked it up. Another surprise was a toll fine for a tunnel we went thru with an additional 30 euro service fee. They should tell people about this toll so that we would be aware we needed to pay this online. We had no idea there was a toll. Overall the communication with Paulius was excellent and the van was clean.

Great experience with Nortbound in booking my Yaris Cross. Pick up from airport on time and vehicle supplied by Mycar was great for the 2 weeks in Iceland.

Super! I got the same model of car that I booked. Rav4 GX is definitely a good quality car. We toured around the island for 13 days. We travelled different road surfaces including rough, snowy, icy, etc. It gave us high level of security. The trunk is spacious for four 26 inches suitcases which is important for a group of four travellers. MyCar, the car rental company - I am very satisfied with their services. Responsive in answering the calls. I once called them by mistake. They even called me back within 10 minutes which truly impressed me. Easy and quick handover of the car. I already recommended my friend to use MyCar when they are in Iceland in mid August this year.

The staff at the Keflavík office were fantastic! When I arrived, I accidentally booked a manual instead of an automatic. They were able to help me change my booking so I could have a car I could drive. The car was very clean, very easy to use, and made my trip 100% more enjoyable. The staff also gave me tips on where to go on the island and what I should see. They really made the rental process very smooth and enjoyable!

My family and I had a great experience renting through Northbound.

Our experience with Northbound and Lava Car Rental was excellent. We were upgraded when we picked up the car and it performed great. As a storm came into the country, we received additional communication both from Northbound and the rental car company. Thanks for helping us have an incredible adventure in Iceland!
