We Loved this camper. We’re on the older side (just turned 40), my husband is over 2 meters (6’ 2”+), and I have back issues, but we were comfortable and cozy and still feel great after spending several nights in this campervan! It was also so convenient - we saw all of the major points on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula in *One Day* because we were able to cook food on the way and pick a campsite on the fly. 10/10 - will rent again. Because after a day in the van we started making plans for another, much longer trip.

The staff of Star Car Rental were really friendly, exceptionally helpful and kind. Someone picked us up from Arrivals to get our car, gave us some tips (about a parking app and fees around Iceland), maps, gas discount cards, and even free coffee coupons. The car, though a bit dinged up (understandable, given some of the road conditions), was very clean, well-kept and drove great. Overall, we would highly recommend Star.

The car worked well, was well equipped and everything worked as needed. We were given an extra can of gas and experienced a very gentile and helpful attitude at the rental. The pick up and delivery at the airport was on time and smooth. Don’t really have anything to complain about.

Everything went smoothly. They had an individual pick us up from the airport and take us to the rental location. We had no problems and would rent through Star rental again.

We had a great trip with our smalle camper. The bed in the car is fine for people from our lenght. Note that tall people ( over 1m75) will may have more problems to sleep comfortable. But for us it was fine. Also everything is provided to cook. Incl 1 gas. Maybe a cuttingknife would have been handy to cut vegetables of fruit. And a can opener. The sleepingbags are necessary to book and they are really good and warm. Also the matrass is very good. The car drives smoothly. Our plane had a lot of delay and i was not sure if someone would still be at the airport. Nobody was there when we arrived and they office number we found on the internet was closed. But then i send and email and got a quick response. They we're on their way so no worries of it should happen. Friendly and helpfull people. There is a supermarket next nu so you can get food before you leave to see magnificent Iceland. I would book again.

Hi! My car was Renault ... in the key change was reading Dacia and allso on dustchields on wheels, but it was still Renault😁. Car was good and I have experience to drive with manual gears, but my own car has cruise control, so that on constant speed I do not have to worry about speed. That info (cruise control yes/no) would be good shown somehow on car renting informations. Because it is so much to see outside of the car, that speed was very "various". And just not mine but allso other campers who obviously were allso first time in Iceland. Allso sleepingarea measurements would be good to show (I am short person- no problems, but over 175-180cm would be difficult to sleep). About eqippment: All basic needs were met. Just curtains on the car may be little darker, because sun is setting very late and rises very early (we have used extra fleece blankets for extra curtains). Inside heater (webasto?) was working well, but we did not see the temperature scala (worn out) and on the first night was too hot first 😁 Overall experience was very good and car was just enough for us.
