Nordic Car Rental in Iceland

The car rental process was very good. The teams on both pick up and drop off were very helpful and when we had a some queries / concerns during our rental they were always very polite and willing to help / advise. I would highly recommend Northbound - we had a great 4WD car at a great price. Thank you.

I will be using Northbound again on my future visits to Iceland. Great prices, and customer service are the reason I will also be recommending their services to family and friends that plan to visit Iceland as well.

I had an excellent experience with Nordic Car--during the week that I was in Iceland we drove all over the place! The car was exactly as describe, comfortable, reliable, safe and easy to maneuver. I would definitely rent from Nordic again and hope to do so (and return to Iceland) soon!

Moderate, as my reservation change was not somehow in Nordic Car Rental visible and I did not get the car I ordered 1st day. Also was agreed that in Monday they will deliver the car I wanted to our apartment but when they did not arrived as was agreed I called and they said the car is waiting in their office at Reykjavik and they have only one lady there who does not have the driver license. I got the car 2 hours later than I was expecting and it was not Qashqai but Xtrail

Absolutely great experience with a great car (Toyota Landcruiser) for an acceptable price. The only improvement may be picking up the car, it was too busy for one person to do the transfer and serving the clients, you got the car, you could check it yourself and go, no instructions, no car papers etc. Besides of that the maintenance check of the car was not done. It seems that we were unlucky as when we delivered the car there were more people helping the clients nicely. But once again all together we had an great experience and we would definitely rent a car again with them.

Loved this car, had no problems what so ever, wish this vehicle was sold in Canada. Very busy place but trying to accommadate all travellers. All good ty will definitely rent if we return again..highly recommend

Hi, everything was great about the car, we didn't get any trouble and it was really efficient in gas use, about customer service maybe the pick up could be a little faster, but nothing to really care about, and full gas tank would be nice too, other than that we were very satisfied.

Everything was fine - apart from having to wait 30 minutes at Nordic for a lift back to the airport! There was more than one reason I chose Northbound. Apart from reviews, price and inclusion of additional insurance were factors.

I was generally pleased with the rental and the Dacia Duster. However there are two Issues: - If you cannot be at the airport for pickup in time, please inform your customers by phone, SMS, whatever. It is no fun standing at the Meeting point not knowing if and when somebody comes to pick you up. I had to wait approximatly 90 minutes. - I took over the car with the tank 30 % full. When I returned it, the tank was about 75 % full which cost me about 30-40 extra Euros, just because the tank indicator did not show the filling timely. This could not happen, if the tank was full when the customer takes it over (as stated in the rental agreement). Best regards Jürgen Peters

Good and helpful.

Support was great. The car was affordable and ran perfectly. The inverter did not work for us, but they kindly refunded the cost without being asked.

My car rental experience with Nordic was sublime. We were picked up from Keflavik airport within the hour and escorted to the car rental center. From there, everything continued to run smoothly. The staff was friendly and helpful. I’m already making plans to visit Iceland again and to rent my own vehicle. I definitely anticipate renting from Nordic for my second Iceland experience. Can’t say enough good things. I received fantastic service.

I'm glad I picked this company. Very smooth pick up and handove. We weren't tricked into paying any extras like some other car rental companies do. I would definitely use it again and would also recommend to my friends.

Sometimes things don't go as planned, and this is where you really get to know if you're dealing with a company. When I had troubles the helpful staff was very professional and made the process of return easy.
