Star Car Rental in Iceland

We rented 2020 Dacia Duster for few days from Star Car Rental. Excellent service, fast and easy pickup, returned car outside departure terminal at KEF airport. I will definitely use them again. Arunas

We were absolutely satisfied, the car was comfy, easy to drive and equipped with everything we've needed during our trip - soft mattress, gas cooker and dishes, a lot of space for baggage under the bed. We would definitely recommend.

Everything has been alright!

It was perfect. Ran well, accelerated fine, heater and defrost were perfect. There was enough room for 2 to sleep and it was organized well with table, chairs and camping equipment

Service was perfected both on the delivery of the car and collection. Car was clean and no problems through the rental period.

We had very good experience with Star Car Rental. We were picked up from the airport upon our arrival in the morning around 9 a.m. The office of Star Car Rental is not so far from the airport. We received the car Renault Dokker. It is identical to the model Dacia Dokker Camper. The car was very clean and in very good condition. Together with the car we received a picnic table, two chairs, different dishes for two persons and a gas cooking plate. In addition to that, we rented a cooling box. Regarding the cooking set, it will be good to have a cutting board and some structure to protect the gas cooking plate from wind. In the back of the car, there was a structure holding a mattress with two pillows and two warm blankets. Under the mattress there was a storage place for the picnic set and our travel bags. We brought our own sleeping bags adapted to 10 degrees Celsius. In the car there was no heating system which we could use without starting the engine. Nevertheless two connectable sleeping bags adapted to 10 degrees Celsius were sufficient to keep us warm during our summer trip in Iceland. In general we are well satisfied with the car. We did not have any problem with it during our trip, and it allowed us to visit lots of beautiful and interesting places in Iceland. At the end of our trip we returned the car during the working hours of the Star Car Rental office, and then one of the managers brought us back to the airport. We had very positive experience with Star Car Rental (Northbound), and we can recommend it to others.

Very comfortable and punctual service. They picked me up at the arrival hall at the airport, in few minutes we were at the parking and the car was perfect for me. The same when I drop it off. They also let you pay the fees and the parking tickets you didn’t pay, in the case you forgot or didn’t find the way to pay them on the place. I will use this service again when back to Iceland. Highly Recommended!
