We had rented a Camper N/A Dacia Dokker. We received the car clean and ready for the trip. The car worked flawlessly, and the heating system really came in handy at night. Staff were helpful and kind. I can easily recommend this company as reliable and pleasant to communicate with.

Car was great, comfortable bed and good pillows and blankets provided. Worked well for our needs. Certainly not much space for manoeuvring and relaxing in the evening if bad weather, but otherwise great. Star car rental were great, efficient pick up and drop off to the airport, clean car and provided phone holder. Car was good value.

The deal I got on the car was the best at the time of booking. To be mindful of: the taller people may find that getting into/out of the bed can be a bit of a faff. And it’s not necessarily the car to get when the temperatures plummet- you get ice buildup inside due to condensation.

The camper was superb. We had a great experience of using it while camping around the Iceland. It was totally suitable for winter conditions because of the webasto heater and winter tires. We highly recommend it.

No issue, no hassle with the rental company and the waiting time to pick-up and return to the airport was only a few minutes . The car consumption was excellent (~4-5%) and the heating system worked with no problems all night long. 5* stars from my side, I totally recommend.

Excellent experience, very well priced, the Jimny ran smoothly and the 4x4 came in handy on some gravel hills. We drove around route 1 in 6 days. Heated seats were lovely after a cold hike. Highly recommend this company.

Fantastic!

Es war alles super und die Kommunikation war unkompliziert. Die Camper waren in einem sehr guten Zustand und es war alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Auch der Shuttle Service vom und zum Flughafen war problemlos. Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und haben alle Fragen beantwortet.

Absolutly perfect ! The description is very clear and the equipment is complete and effective. The car is perfect for 2 persons : we spend 8 nights in the car and except the fresh temperature is was very confortable. The check in and check out were very simple and clear with sympathique staff. Super road trip realized in the magnificent country that is Iceland. Excellent welcome from the agency at my arrival at the airport and very professional handling of the vehicle. Everything was super easy and convenient! Picked us up from the airport at 5:50am and got us into a rental in now time! Peter (I don’t know how to spell or say his real name) was super friendly and answered all of questions. I ended up returning the vehicle later than expected but there was no issue! The only thing I would change is putting some sort of felt on the ceiling in the back of the van (that was the condensation doesn’t drip on the campers faces in the morning!) I would use this company again in a heartbeat and tell everyone who is going to Iceland and plans to camp to use them! Thank you so much again!

Our experience with Star Car Rental was wonderful. I had been worried as a friend had recently rented from another rental company and they tried to charge her $600 for a windshield chip. My worry was not necessary with Star Car’s rental experience. I would recommend them to everyone as well as use them again on my next visit! Five stars!!
