Go Iceland in Iceland

Would look at other options if I were to travel to Iceland again. Waited about 30 minutes for the guy to show up at the airport. Had to leave family behind and come back to get them. No one was very welcoming or friendly on pick up. It was better when i dropped off. The car had a crack across the whole window and looked pretty beat up. But the car operated good with no issues.

The car was great for the price we paid. Very reliable even in rougher terrain, but we didn't push our luck with crossing of fords ;) car is also very fuelk efficient! Only negative thing is that we got no introduction to the car and had to figure it out ourselves.

All perfect. We took out all-risk insurance for peace of mind. Very professional and friendly.

I want to day that the first customer experience was a little negative because rent.is offered us an aditional insurance despite the fact we had already taken out a complete insurance when we booked the car. I tell you as an area that you should improve from my point of view as a client. It raises doubts and distrust. But Everything ok

Unfortunately, the experience was terrible. We picked up the car and already when examining the tires we had the suspicion that the quality is poor. The tires looked worn and brittle. Our impression was not deceived. Only due to short trips on gravel roads, we had 3x flat tires. Actually 5x if you consider that 2x have been repaired and have lost air again. The support which ran mostly via GoIceland was atrocious. I can not list everything in detail because it is too bad for me for the time. In short, we had to be towed unnecessarily 1x, at a cost of over 1000 euros. We lost a total of 2 days vacation just to repair or replace tires. They sent us back again and again about 400km to learn that only 1 tire can be replaced instead of 3, although they said that it was clarified in advance with the garage. They told us to walk to an other garage even though it was 90 minutes away on foot. It was pouring and storming in rain. They were not even able to clarify first with the garage when it was the first time to check the tires or replace. They let us do all the clarifications. Northbound as an agent is quite okey but avoid renting a car from GoIceland.

Perfect condition

Wonderful experience renting thru the Northbound. The whole experience was flawless. Shuttle was already at the airport waiting for us. The pick-up location is around 10 minutes away from the airport and it took us 5 minutes or so in picking the vehicle up.

AMAZING CAR RENTAL. I rented the 2023 Jeep Compass through Northbound which directed me to rent.is the actual rental company. Northbound made it easy to find this jeep which was affordable and INCREDIBLE to drive. It was decked out with all the newest add-ons: hybrid, safety sensors, backup camera, cruise control, a comfortable screen with CarPlay and more. The car was so well kept and lovely to drive.

It was a great car. Nice ride with great gas mileage.
