Good
When we arrived at Lagoon Car Rental the informed us that the KIA Sorento that we were suppose to be getting to fit all 7 people in our group had been in an accident. However, they gave us 2 KIA Sportages and an extra GPS for the same price. The only negative was having to pay for double the diesel.

The car itself was fantastic and I can not say enough good things about it. However, when we arrived at Lagoon car rental in iceland, they tried to give us a different vehicle than what we reserved, assuring us it was an "upgrade". In no way is a Kia an upgrade over a Subaru. Regardless of if it was an "upgrade" or not, we specifically requested the Subaru Forester, and that is the exact car that we wanted. We even emailed ahead of time to ensure we would have that specific vehicle waiting for us, but it was not. Luckily, another customer was returning a Subaru Forester when we were arguing with the employees about it, so we were able to take that one. It was a diesel model, same as the Kia they tried to give us, and we preferred (and reserved) a gasoline model. Not the end of the world, but still an inconvenience that we were assured would not take place.

We were upgraded from VW Up to Nissan Qashqai as they didn't have the Up so pretty happy with that. Satnav we'd booked not available so were given a refund and the wifi dongle (also booked) for free and used our phone maps. Worked fine so would just book wifi if using again. Only hitch was that we'd arranged a pick up of the at 7.00 am but no one had turned up by the time we were being picked up at 8.00 so we had to leave key with reception which meant we couldn't get confirmation there was no damage. Turned out ok when I emailed them but was a slight concern. Still pleased with the was Northbound organised everything.

The Jimny we booked was broke down so we got freely upgraded to a Dacia duster which was amazing, we got our headlights blown out on our last day, but the blue lagoon got them replaced in just 30 minutes free of charge, and the service was absolutely fantastic

Good
No, I can't find my Outlander when I arriving. Maybe the car had been lent, and then the receptionist let me choose any car I like in this place. Also, the receptionist is too busy. He have to process the work about rental car and pick up service at same time, just one person in your office. Maybe it is the reason why we waited over one hour at airport. Anyway, very thank you for your help to accomplish my journey.

Very good. Quick pickup from the airport for the short ride to the office. No problems with the Subaru and the return was fast and easy.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. Upon calling on our arrival to Keflavik, my friend and I were promptly picked up from the airport and taken to the Lagoon Car Rental office, where our 4x4 sat waiting with winter tires (+ studs), as requested. The paperwork was quickly taken care of, and we were given ample opportunity to inspect the car for prior damage before going on our way. The prices seemed competitive/good for Iceland (the entire country is expensive--be prepared), and we opted for both gravel insurance and general insurance for an additional 24 euros/day. Northbound facilitated the rental procedure online and their website was both user-friendly and very straightforward without surprises. Highly recommend!!

Excellent
No one was waiting to pick us up at the airport,no note or message to explain why. Had to call a couple of times as staff advised they'd be there in 20 mins which turned into 50 mins of waiting. This resulted in us being late for our check in at the hotel and had to pay extra for out of hours check in. Car quality was okay, we didn't have any problems with that. Car return was quick too. Also, the car was not renault clio, it was hyundai i20.
