Rijo Campers in Iceland

The camper van was well equipped for the three of us. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a great way to see Iceland and afforded lots of flexibility to go where and when we wanted. We felt it was a good deal.

I had a wonderful time with my rental! I felt every instruction was very clear. The van had a great overnight heating system. It was easy to drive! I loved how the table converted into a van. It was an unforgettable experience to be able to do something like this in Iceland. I'm very grateful!

We had the best trip. Northbound offered so many vehicles. We chose the Rijo Camper Van because of the price, what it included, and unlimited mileage. We went with a 2x4 and was fine the entire 2 weeks. We loved this van because it’s roomy. It was like sleeping in a king sized bed. Our mini kitchen was at our feet. You have room to set at the end of the bed and get dressed and put on our boots. Plenty of storage under the seats. Overall I would definitely go with rijo campers again.

Our trip was fantastic! This vehicle was just what we needed to travel freely while not being too bulky on the road. For lunch, we could prepare our picnics and eat inside in case of bad weather, or take out the table and chairs when the weather was nice. In the evening, we mainly used the sanitary facilities of the campsites and could sleep in the fairly comfortable bunks of the vehicle. Paulius was always very responsive when we had questions, we always felt safe during our tour of Iceland on sometimes very isolated roads. All this allowed us to make the most of our trip: landscapes, birds, hikes, museums, meetings... Iceland is a superb country that we did not know yet. We may come back in winter for the northern lights!

Rijo Campers was great! 5star. I would always book them again.

The vehicle was in good working order. The heater and refrigerator both worked well. We were surprised to find out there was an additional fee to wash the van on the return. We were told about this when we picked it up. Another surprise was a toll fine for a tunnel we went thru with an additional 30 euro service fee. They should tell people about this toll so that we would be aware we needed to pay this online. We had no idea there was a toll. Overall the communication with Paulius was excellent and the van was clean.

It was very good. Big enough for two persons. Separat batterie works well, so the heater was fine. Sometimes the electric menu was not simply to unterstand or it turns to its own modus and you can’t see the charging level. The mattress was a little bit different in its softness of the single parts (so it works of course to switch to the seats). Some hooks or subjects would be fine. Communication with mobile, pick-up and drop off worked perfectly. The price on Iceland is everywhere for everything very expensive in general.

(DANGER).Realizamos en torno 5 o 6 viajes al año y jamas encontré una empresa tan mala como rijo campers. El buscador de northbound y su atención son fantásticas, no entiendo como en su buscador, puede estar una empresa como rijo campers. Resumen. 1. No nos recogieron del aeropuerto. Al salir, las empresas te esperan con un cartel.después de esperar casi una hora,en que nos recogieran, pese a que tenían información de la hora de llegada. 2. Se recogió la camper, en un descampado,totalmente a oscuras. Tuvimos k iluminar la camper con el móvil, para buscar desperfectos( cuidado con este detalle). 3. Frigorífico, calefacción y todo lo eléctrico. Descargado, solo funciona si lo enchufas a la red. 4. Sin agua en los depósitos. 5.al devolver la camper, el Tecnico. Se mete debajo del vehículo y dice que falta una tapa de plástico. La cual podría haberse caído,al estar floja o simplemente no estar. Quien se mete debajo de un vehículo de alquiler, para comprobar que faltan piezas?? 6. Nos cobran 850 eur.por una tapa de plástico, k posiblemente ni estaba. 7. Solicitamos factura, con gastos detallados y hoja de reclamaciones. Por supuesto se niegan, dicen k no tienen. 8. Solicitamos presencia de policía para denunciar. Empiezan a perder tiempo, como sea. Ya que saben que perdemos el vuelo. RESUMEN!! Cuidado es una estafa, el tema esta en la oficina del consumidor europeo.
