Great service and value! I highly recommend this company. We rented a 4WD vehicle for two weeks. Pick up and drop off at the airport, perfectly timed, quickly on the road with friendly service. Really appreciated valuable advice about parking tickets, full wind shield fuid, a large bottle of water, and a clean vehicle with good winter tires all made the start of our trip easy. Renting at off airport site locations as there are no line ups and the vehicle does not have to be found in a large parking lot. Cheaper, better service and faster onto the road. A wonderful start to a great trip! Thank you!

We rented the car for 10 days to drive the ring road in Iceland. The friendly and efficient staff from Star Car Rental meet us at the airport and explained about pay parking in the National Parks by downloading the Parka App. A reliable car was exactly what we needed during our 10 day road trip through beautiful Iceland, Thank you for everything!

Outstanding!

Globally the 2021 Dacia dokker was perfect in term of size and organisation for our trip and also confortable ! However some small features could be improve such as : a small isolation of the car in a way to avoid condensation every morning and a rain protection at the back of the car in a way to still cook or take out object of the car while raining without getting the mattress wet etc.

The process was smooth and easy, felt very relaxed, and the staff were awesome to deal with. The vehicle was clean and set up better than I expected, I have rented vehicles before in Iceland and this was the best experience I have had. It was set up for our travel so much better than other rentals. If I go to Iceland again, I will definitely rent through STAR again.

I travel a lot and renting vehicles is never a fun part of it. But Star Car Rental completely changed that! This was the best rental experience I’ve had out of every country I’ve visited. The staff were very happy and friendly. The car itself (Dokker Camper van) was exactly what we needed. It came with all the supplies for actual camping. The bed was comfortable and the heating system a big bonus. Best part was no hidden fees or penalties. Everything (including damage insurance) was included. I’ll be using Star Car Rental on every trip to Iceland from here on out.

Car was perfect for traveling the island, only thing I would suggest is adding window rain gaurds so you can crack the windows to help mitigate condensation.
