A bit difficult to find transfer from airport and limited availability on the shuttle, had to wait 2 rounds for us to fit into the transfer Paperwork went smoothly

It was actually a Hyundai Kona. The car was great. Perfect size for us. It was just hard to get the pickup from the airport. We didn’t receive correct information from the email. The person on the phone was a little rude and seemed stressed. The staff at the pickup was great.

My experience was very good. The only things to improve from my experience would be better information about insurance details of my order vs. common names of insurance choices (I was not sure what insurance I had and what it means (if it is a CDW or SCDW). I also did not know kind of important information about "F" roads, that if I have a flat tire on "F" road, I have to wait for normal road assistance, not rental road assistance as on normal roads. I have got this information in person when I picked the car - I don't know if I have overlooked it or it was not stated before... For the plus: polish speeking crew was an asset for me as well as pick up and drop off procedure - fast and without any unneccessary loss of time, which is very important when you arrive at midnight and are rushing for departure flight.

HI, My overall experience was OK. I would not recommend using services from more known providers. The issues we faced were, 1> We had to wait over 30 mins for the pick up shuttle. 2> The staff was more interested in selling insurance. Since I had already taken their premium package they were least interested in my questions. They were not even prepared to provide paid upgrades. 3> I was first offered a car with empty fuel tank which is obviously not favorable to return the vehicle. Secondly the car provided was very old, dirty and not in a good condition overall. There were no alternatives available. 4> Drop off was smooth only because my insurance covered everything. I will not use GoIsland or their sister companies again. I can see they were cheaper for a reason. Not happy over all!

Hello Ivar, Thank you for soliciting my feedback. Things did not go well initially. There was a long wait at the airport for transportation and not enough room for all members of my group. A member had to wait for the next shuttle. The driver was very helpful and apologetic. The Jeep Compass did not have a working navigation system or Wi-Fi. We returned with the vehicle once we realized this. We were allowed to leave without these, despite having paid for them, being foreigners with no understanding of the language and unable to read signs or navigate. We were told they were all out of WI-FI systems. The staff worked for some time, unsuccessfully, to try to find a solution. Fortunately another vehicle was dropped off and we were able to switch to that one with a navigation system and WI-FI and not charged for the larger vehicle due to the significant inconvenience. This took up quite a bit of our morning. When we returned the vehicle, the same shuttle bus driver was there and he remembered us. He greeted us warmly and allowed us priority on the bus. He did an outstanding job. My review is mixed. There needs to be more attention paid to outfitting the vehicles with the proper electronics and explaining to customers how they work and providing necessary passwords. This is critical.

We were given a Mitsubishi with three major cracks in the windshield, two of which were at eye level. The rental process felt extremely rushed. We were supposed to get free 2nd driver and had to go back in to add my wife. Also, free wifi, again, had to go back in and rep looked everywhere for the component, finally found one, we had to use our own plug because they couldn't find one for the wifi. The rep marked the gas tank as full and it was only at 1/2 tank, so had to go back inside to have them update it. We finally got on the road! However, the low wiper fluid chime continually beeped because they never added wipe fluid from the previous renter. When we returned the car, the experience was uneventful thank goodness. I would not rent from GO Iceland car rentals again.
