Outstanding!

I’ve rented 2 other times in Iceland. Go Iceland is by far the best experience I’ve had with a rental company upon arrival and departure. The price was more than fair and the insurance was top notch. The staff was communicative, pick up and drop off were smooth and the vehicle was clean, and in excellent operating condition. It was everything I needed for the trip I took through Iceland.

In total we were satisfied! Just some comments: We had to wait quite long at airport by arrival for shuttle, not clear place where to wait Our car had old tires with low depth of tread No aircondition (would be good for humidity elimination inside car)

Cad was good. The process for picking up the car is a real pain though. It requires getting a shuttle bus from a part of a busy airport that isn’t clearly signed. It also isn’t clear whether the bus comes every 10 mins or 30 mins - we were given mixed responses. As we arrived late we got a taxi which due to a minimum fare cost £25. The check in process is also slow. If we had got the bus we could have been at the back of an 8+ group of people which based on check in speeds could have been over an hour. All round not ideal compared with going with the larger companies based by the airport which usually have more efficient check in processes

Just wanted to let you know Go Iceland Car Rental attention to detail is piss poor. Left at the airport from 7 to 8 pm they didnt even send anyone to pick me up. I ended up having to take a taxi to which i asked if at the very least to reimburse it. They only reimbursed half the taxi fare to which at that point i just gave up. Even waiting in line, only one worker was working while the other was just chilling. Furthermore, the only worker working was taking his own sweet time when there was 3 other customers waiting. For the benefit of future customers, please do not recommend Go Iceland Car Rental I hope i can get some compensation for the misery I went through and if not some justice.

Very Good

Fast pickup airport, slightly caotic at rental office. About 45 minutes waiting time (this was sunday at noon). Very fast and efficient service after that. No waiting time when we returned the car, tuesday afternoon. Car was delivered with big crack in front window, apart from that the car was very in good condition, also never model than described, low mileage and it served us very well on our 10 day trip.

Very Good

It was a Mazda 2. I don't mind if a car is full of chips and scratches but the windscreen was not fit for driving in my opinion.

Excellent

Ideal car for Iceland One comment on the pick up instructions. They said get shuttle at airport.I got the shuttle and I ended up at Go rentals and I had to return on shuttle to the airport as after J called you I was told to meet the person T the arrivals with the Go Iceland board Your instructions need to be modified to avoid this and should state to meet the person with the board to collect you and do not refer to the shuttle
