Service and attitude are excellent. Even when we had a failure during the trip (due to our fault), we received a quick response and assistance. The Kia we got was clean and well maintained. Highly recommended.

The pickup from the airport was great especially after our flight was delayed. The checkin process to receive the car was quick and easy. The duster was a great vehicle for travelling the country. No issues. The interior of the vehicle could have been cleaned a bit better but it wasn’t a big deal considering all the rain. The check out process and service back to the airport was also easy and fast. Thanks!

The Duster was ideal for doing the Ring Road over two fantastic weeks in July. I chose Lagoon via Northbound as they were very competitive and had good reviews; also interestingly Northbound quotes were noticeably better than my usual route of HolidayAutos. However, Lagoon slipped up on some of the initial service items (car not clean, blocked windscreen washers, no jack/ tyre lever, car not ready) when I collected the Duster. But, they responded promptly and very fairly to my email outlining these issues, refunding some of my hire costs - and I would therefore recommend them and use them again. The staff were all friendly and the drop off service worked great at 0715 even though it’s just outside the international airport unlike most hire companies.

It was a smooth easy process from beginning to end. Northbound offered the best price I could find for a camper in Iceland for 1 week. I paid a down payment online and paid the rest in person. The car ran great and Lagoon had a great customer service with no problems.

Perfect. Pick up, drop off, explanation of using car. Good tip - honest. That the wind can damage door when we open them. Only one thing, was confused. On some sign before crossing the river, mentioned: " Has your engine been waterproofed ?" We was not sure. And on some sign, also ask if your engine is at least 50 cm from the ground ? We also did not know. So, we pass the river by choosing shallowest place. Could be good to mentioned about it, when we talk with your employee. Maybe I missed somewhere those info. Why I choose you ? One reason below. Second: I read some good reviews for Northbound. In general, you do perfect job. I will recommend you to my friends. Thank you

The driver was waiting in the arrivals section with a Lagoon Car Rental sign, as promised. There were about three different groups who loaded up in the van for a short ride to the rental car facilities. Then things slowed down. While the two clerks had computers, the rental contracts are filled out by hand. Then the renter is invited to go inspect the car for dents and dings to make sure that they've been recorded before departing. The whole process took longer than it should. The car worked fine and the rate was good at the time I booked it. (Car rentals and gas are expensive in Iceland.) We returned the car early on Friday morning and that process moved quickly. We were then driven back to the airport to catch our flight home.

Lagoon Car Rental was great! There were attentive to our needs and had awesome customer service. We will use them again if/when we come back.

We got Kia Sportage instead, which was in the end OK although I originally thought we would really get Dacia Duster. There was one problem with the Kia from day one onwards, it had slight tyre pressure leak on the left front tyre which forced us to find service station every morning to fill the tyre pressure up to normal level. Luckily this did not get too serious, and we managed the whole rental period with this procedure. Lagoon should have noticed this before giving the car to us. Otherwise the car was ok.

The rental car with Lagoon Car Rentals went smoothly. We were picked up from the airport and taken to the rental office nearby. We awaited our turn and were given our rental. It wasn't what we chose but a similar car - Kia Sportage (It does not fit more than 2 large suitcases and 2 duffels) Upon return the system was similar. Good service and smooth rental. They could have more people working at the office to make things go faster.

Fine. Everything as expected, except that the car had a big damage in the front window, when you delivered it. In Dk, I think, it is not allowed to drive in a car with such a damage, because of the risk that the window crashes during driving. Else it was good. Tent and everything functioned - almost - as it should (one of the buttons to keep the tent did not function, which was a bit irritating.

I ended up renting a Mitsubishi instead. I upgraded for a discounted price and was very happy with the car we received. It took about 15 minutes until i was picked up from the airport and when i returned the car i was immediately taken to the airport which was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The wait at the counter when renting the car was a bit more than I expected.

Airport pickup was quick and easy. The Duster was a little older than I expected but it was a great car! The diesel gas mileage was phenomenal. They let us drop off in Reykjavik for no extra charge, which was a huge help. Very satisfied. Thank you!

Overall, we were satisfied with the service received from Lagoon Car rental. The price was really competitive, we were happy with the vehicle and options take, and the return service was really quick. My only gripe is the length of time it took to pick the car up. We were ready to go at 8.30am, but it wasn't until over 90 minutes later that we actually drove away which was pretty frustrating given the length of drive we had ahead of us. More staff in the rental centre would definitely have helped.

The service was very fast and professional. The pick up and drop off to and from the airport was right on time. My only complain would be the Kia was dirty on the inside when we received it, for example we found an uneaten apple under the passengers seat, and the tire tread was very low.

We were met at the airport and transported to the Lagoon Car Rental with all our luggage. We were in a party of 6. The rental process went very quickly and we were on the road within an hour. One of our vehicles was upgraded at no cost to us. It was greatly appreciated. Very nice company to work with.
