Lagoon Car Rental in Iceland

Pick up and return were well organized and very friendly. The car was technically OK, but had several minor damages. I like the method other car rentals do, to mark these known damages with stickers, so checking at pick up and return would be much easier.

Good. Difficult to find your office for return the car.

I really loved that we were picked up at our accommodation in Reykjavik and taken to the rental office. The girl who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. We had a small upgrade of vehicle to a Kia Rio and everything went quickly and smoothly with the rental. We really enjoyed driving the car. I returned the vehicle at the Keflavik office, but I was very unhappy that I couldn't find the office and wasted about 30 minutes driving around looking for it! I asked three other car rental businesses where it was, and they didn't know and told me the wrong directions. Please put a Lagoon sign up on this street!! I was very stressed in getting to the airport later than I wanted to. Luckily the young man at the office was very helpful and kind and rushed me to the airport. I would definitely recommend Lagoon, but please help your customers with large signs at your Keflavik office.

Rental process was excellent . Met at airport and brought via bus to office . Drop off was very quick and we were driven back to airport in our rental which meant we didn't have to transfer luggage etc ..

The experience was a genuinely great one! There was a little mix up in the vehicle we were suppose to get but they quickly directed us to where we can see another facility they had that was close to our place where we stayed so we could swap the cars out. The staff was extremely nice and helpful and even gave us a Wi-Fi hotspot for the troubles of having to swap out the vehicle. I highly recommend using this company for their service and amazing staff.

During our holiday on Iceland we rented Dacia Duster in Lagoon. They provided everythng exactly as I expected - transfer from airport and back, car in good shape and very nice customer support (including free cofee and some tips on how to operate on icelandic roads :) ). I would strongly recommend Lagoon - as well as Northbond. You must know that I'm not "easy customer" - prior to holidays I've been booking and cancelling different cars and asking silly questions through emails. For them this was not a problem :) Thank you Northbound and Lagoon - you made our holiday perfect as without this car we would not see beauty of Iceland in 100% !

Overall, the experience was just fine and the prices for 4x4s were pretty close to the best we could find. Shuttle service was a nice gesture. Only negative was that we had to wait an hour or so for the x-trail to be cleaned and ready for us. After spending 6 days driving all over Iceland, I can see how it takes a while to clean. I would likely recommend Northbound to my friends who are heading to Iceland for a trip in September.

Overall experience was great! The staff were helpful and courteous, the car was clean, ready and properly equipped, and the vehicle itself was perfect for camping around Iceland. No complaints.

A week traveling around Iceland was a amazing experience! Most Iceland's beauties are accessible only by gravel roads, so Mitsubishi L200 equipped with Mountain Tent was the best choice!! Car was in TOP condition and became our home for a week! It's a comfortable but tough car that can drive you everywhere (river crossings are in everyday schedule!!) safely! Guys from Lagoon cars keep their fleet well maintained. They were also very helpful and polite and always ready to assist! Price was competitive as well. We are very happy with Lagoon Cars. In our next visit to Iceland Lagoon Cars will be our first choice again!!!

A very good experience with Lagoon Car Rental ! All the team is pro and helpfull ! My Dacia Duster was a 60.000km old car, little scratches but it's normal with all these tricky roads in Iceland :)

Very good. Even though we started having problem with breaks (plate) we received help over the phone and when the break plate was blown off on our last day (Reykjavil) we had a new car within 2 hours.

We were very satisfied with the services of Northbound and Lagoon Car Rental. The car we chose did in fact work perfectly well on the streets of iceland. The staff was more than welcoming and helpful. In comparison to other car rental agencies, we all know, Lagoon Car Rental provided its service to a moderate rental rate. I can only recommend Northbound / Lagoon Car Rental to other pontential customers.

If a shuffle you should not have to csll and wonder were it is. You change för 1,class and deliver average. Personel ok.

We had a great experience with Lagoon car rental! The communication is quick and smooth, the shuttle service to/from the airport is perfectly on time, and checking the car in/out is super fast! We will definitely rent from Lagoon next time we are in Iceland!

Good Service, i.e. pick up from the airport, very friendly welcome, the Duster could have been cleaner, but it is a very suitable car for F-roads, and has extremely low fuel consumption (diesel). Also enough space in the car and comfortable. Very good service also when returning the car. Would definitely recommend you. Our Island experience was very impressive - a wonderful country. We have been lucky with the weather. Although 2 full weeks in the country, we need to come back to see more.

Good morning I'm Patrizia Peinetti, Italian Hiking Guide I have to say that the rental at Lagoon has had some problems. I can not give a positive assessment of the experience, I'm sorry. They were kind and prompt to get me back to the airport. But when they gave me the vehicle (a small car) we went out to check the damage that the car had. The car was full of scratches, some even deep, dents and more. It was impossible to mark all the damage on the form that was delivered to me. Also impossible to take pictures because the weather was dark and horrible. So I was rather worried because it was not possible to establish a safe condition of the vehicle at the start. I drive and rent means all over the world and am a prudent driver. I've never had any problems with any rental company. In my journey along the state 1 I had no accident and when I returned to the rental I was therefore quiet Instead the guy who was in the office saw a line on the bumper and started to say that it was a fracture so I had to pay 700 euros. It did not seem like a fracture to me and if I had done something like that, I would have noticed it. Fortunately, in the meantime another employee arrived who swiped his finger on the line and realized that it was simply a line of dirt: your roads are horrible and in a building site where the road was asphalted a small stretch of tar was deposited on the bumper. I was therefore going to pay 700 euros for a row of dirt. I unfortunately have another rental from 10 to 19 August with this company: this time it is a 9-seater van because I will be with my group of customers. So I hope that there are no other problems with them of this type because it worries me. Best regards Patrizia Peinetti
