Excellent

It was amazing. Everyone was kind, helpful, explained everything what we needed to know.

We had a great experience with Northbound. We were picked up at our hotel on time and the agent was helpful in showing us various details on the car. She carefully inspected the car with us and gave us the needed information if we needed to get in touch with the company. Returning the car to the airport was a plus and it went smoothly.

We hired a Subaru 4WD for 10 days. Great service picked up from our accomodation & dropped off at the airport. No issues with the car, no issues with billing. Drama free.

Good firm, friendly and the car was really nice. We had a better car because the one we booked was not out of service.

My experience with Lagoon Car Rental was absolutely perfect. Everything went well. After arrival to the Keflavik airport, employee of Lagoon was waiting at arrival hall. In the office there was smiling girl. She showed me a car and shortly I was on the way from Keflavik. I am very satisfied and recommend Northboound and Lagoon Car Rental.

Our car ran great and was very clean. Our kids enjoyed the free hot chocolate while we signed our paperwork. I would certainly use them again if I return to Iceland! Getting from the airport to the rental car via the free shuttle was a bit confusing for me as a first timer to Iceland, but the system of 'wait in the airport for a guy who is holding up the right sign' seems to be the norm there, and ultimately it was very easy.

First trip to Iceland therefore first experience with Northbound. Everything was excellent. We were greeted on arrival at the airport and transferred immediately to the office where the registration process was easy. The car was ready and was exactly what we needed. On return, we had a very early flight but the staff were ready for us and again the process was quick and easy and we were transferred back to the airport with the minimum delay.

Good van for 8-9 people

Excellent from start to finish. The man who collected us from the airport was friendly and welcoming. Our chosen vehicle was upgraded at no extra cost and the Kia Sportage we got was brand new and fantastic. The vehicle collection was straightforward, efficient and completed quickly. We would definitely use Blue Lagoon/ Nortbound next time we visit beautiful Iceland and recommend to any family/friends thinking about hiring a vehicle.

Over all, it is good. However, there are a few points that need to be improved: - Meeting the staff at air port: I need to call to find your staff - Pick up the car: I found that the insurance policy I paid did not cover everything as I expected (as I used to experience from other places, the insurance will cover everything), therefore, we need to check the car and some more paper work, which is quite wasting time - Return the car: I arrived the Lagoon Car Rental office (air port) around 3:00 AM, but there are no staff there (bit the office is opened). I sat and wait for a while but there is no any staff come in. Finally, I need to call to make the staff aware that I was waiting at the office.

The car and roof tent were great and in peak conditions. The service by the team was a bit lacking since we had to specifically ask for someone to show us how the tent operates because they were going to send us of figuring it out by ourself. They also charged for an automatic which we ordered by gave as manual which to be honest did not even notice until the last day since I am used to manual driving, they gave us a one day discount though in return.

The experience was great. We did not have to wait at all to get picked up or driven back to the airport - which was better than expected. All reps were very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this company!

Excellent ... maybe the formalities could be quicker but we understand it's difficult to manage the peaks according planes arrival ...

Pros: Easy to deal with. Newer cars. Cons: Late for pickup Disorganized pickup (Van fits 7, they had at least 12 people waiting when they finally arrived with more coming in) Didn’t have the car I ordered Unapologetic for not having the car I ordered

We first rent a subaru outback diesel type but got mizubishi outlander gasoline. We met a tire explosion just before returning car. Fotunately we met icelander's help so anyway its a quite best experience .

Everything went well and all services worked fluently with Northbound and Lagoon car rent. It was nice that I got discount for booking earlier and also had to pay most of the cost in the renting place.
