Lagoon Car Rental in Iceland

Good. We didnt get a Mitsubishi Outlander but the car we did get was great. Brand new and the company included a free roof box. Overall a good experience.

The staff in the Keflavik office were exceptionally helpful and very polite. We’re quite happy with the service we received. The Dacia Logan was very comfortable to drive and suited our needs perfectly. The one issue we ran into was that the beeps and dashboard notifications were not easily understood. So it wasn’t always clear what issue a light is sound related to. Other than that, everything was wonderful.

I was hoping to have a smooth rental experience for my trip in Iceland, and that's exactly what I got with Lagoon! Super easy-going, no-nonsense, hassle-free car rental experience. Really glad I went with them. I would gladly use them again.

Seamless experience, great car

The only problem we had was when we arrived, we didn't see a rep at the airport until we emailed them to let them know we where there. But the process after that was simple and easy.

Very good' unfortunately the izuzu had a fault on collection. But Lagoon car rental staff were great and replaced it with a Toyota land cruiser straight away and gave us a discount too!. Best car ever for all the fords we crossed,. As even route 1 had been closed by heavy rain. Thank you.

The car was ok, but some service light or indicators were on even if the car was in good shape, so it was not very trustworthy. Other than that the car was perfect. We tried to cancel one of the services (mobile wifi) but it was not possible. I would hace liked more flexibility, as you do can add services but not cancel them. Also, i asked for my invoice and i still cannot get it, this is very frustrating. The offices are very far from downtown, and there was no transportation, so it was a bit of trouble getting there.

The car is a good choice for sight seeing visitors like us. It is new and easy to control with large luggage space.

We had a wonderful experience renting with Lagoon Car Rental! They were so kind to provide needed transportation to pick up and drop off (and even back to the airport so we could exchange some money.) The employees were welcoming, kind and understanding. The car was VERY clean and ran wonderfully! We would absolutely recommend Lagoon to future friends!

We had a good experience with Lagoon car rental booked through Northbound. No issues with pick-up/drop-off even though we arrived at 1am. Everything we requested was in the car which was as described and good quality. Very comfortable nights sleep although occasionally cold with no heating system when the engine is off. Overall quite expensive at about £100/day although I understand this is the going rate in Iceland. Many thanks, Alex.

Friendly and Professional staff that provided us With a great experience overall. The car was Perfect for our needs, but you might want to bring an extra blanket for the colder days. During Our last day, we noticed the Olis discount chip on the keychain - not a big issue - but knowing about it would have gotten us some discount gas and free coffees along the 2700km trip! Be sure to inform future adventurers :)

Everything was great

We have an excellent experience renting with the Blue Lagoon company. We were picked up at the airport terminal, short drive to the office, and all was quickly done, they nicely helped us to find a camp site as it was already late at night. Our camper was great, clean, and only 3 month old. We had a wonderful experience, and can't wait to come back :) the staff was nice and friendly, and professional. We recommend.

We are satisfied, everything went just as we had reserved. The car was good and the personal in Lagoon Car were nice and helpful.

Alquilamos una furgoneta para dar la vuelta a Islandia ya que éramos ocho y nuestra experiencia con lagoon car rental fue bastante buena .El servicio muy profesional , chicos estupendos , te recogen cuando llegas al país y te llevan al aeropuerto una vez el vehículo devuelto. Los vehículos son nuevos y los precios muy competitivos pero lo que mas me sorprendió es que no te retienen un deposito en la tarjeta lo que viene muy bien si viajes con un presupuesto . En general todo muy bien y muy profesional .

Good experience, pick up and drop off system was efficient and the kids loved the complimentary hot chocolate in the waiting room. Friendly staff.

We rented an Isuzu 4 wheel drive with a pop up camper for 9 days. The truck was fantastic...good mileage, comfortable and the clearance made a big difference. The camper was a little quirky at 1st. Seemed like every lock and latch had a mind of it's own. Once we figured them out it was great. The little kitchen was perfect and the heater made several nights quite toasty. As for the service? They are a great bunch of young people who are very genrous with their time and knowledge. Super willing to work with you. We will recommend them to everyone we know that goes to Iceland.

Our cooking gear that we had paid for was left out, which turned out to be pretty costly for us. We had a bit of difficulty getting back to the car rental location to return our van since it wasn't with the other rental companies by the airport, so perhaps directions could be provided when picking up the car. All else went well.

Very good experience, nice people at Lagoon Car Rental, very helpful and friendly. We had a good car and also the equipment fitted perfectly for going camping.

The whole renting - collecting an returning the car - was a straightforward process, the staff was friendly and the instant lift to and from the airport contributed to a succesful trip.

Everything went perfectly well. Services were awesome, as well as treatment, suggestions, and recommendations by staff. The car was in excellent conditions, as well as the equipment. The only "but" is the sleeping bags which were more like duvets and individuals. It may have been better to have either two separate sleeping bags or one large duvet for two people. Otherwise, everything was perfect.
