Good

The camper wasn't ready for us at the agreed time so we had a dalay of four hours t start with. when we got it there were a lot of things wrong with it - the fridge didn't work, the ladder was broken and the underside of the mattress on the bed was sopping wet. However the staff at Lagooontravel were very pleasant and helpful, and gave us a reasonable reduction on the rental price. Another point worth mentioning is that Northbound offered us a 'comfort kit ' which included bedding. Due to the high cost of this we decided to take all our bedding from Sweden. This weighed about 15 kg and took up a lot of space. As it turned out bedding was included in Lagoon's deal which would have been good to know in advance!

Good

Car was mostly fine. The headlights on low beam did not work and the wheel ballad was out with the car pulling to the right. Otherwise I was very happy with the car and the friendly helpful staff

Outstanding!

The whole rental went very well, no issues. The car was basically new and it was greatly fitting our needs (road trip around the whole island). Originally we though about combining sleeping in the car with hotels but finally the car was comfortable enough for the whole week. Also the camping equipment we ordered on top was new and working. The only little downside was that no one was waiting for us at the airport after arrival (as promised) however a quick call helped, the guy was there in 5 min. Overall a great experience with this company.

Outstanding!

Booking this car through Northbound was very simple and transparant. Paid a small amount in advance, which was helpful. A very friendly girl from Lagoon Car picked us up at the airport. Within 15 minutes everything was cleared and we could leave with the car. One week and 1800 kilometers later we returned it, they checked the car and after 15 minutes they drove us back to the airport. I can really recommend Lagoon Rental! They are very easy-going and friendly. Toon from Belgium.

Good

Good. Here are my thoughts. I thought that I had rented a gps along with the car but the paper work showed that I had not if my friend didn't bring it up the I would have forgotten. So, while some people might think you're overselling it would have been perceived as a helpful reminder because there's no way we could have managed our travel with a gps. Second, I thought the tires were too worn for driving in a climate with as much rainfall as Iceland. Third, directions to drop off the car at KEF were poor. I think we were told it was across the street from KEF, so that's not really good enough as a foreign traveler I a hurry to catch a flight.

Lagoon is an excellent Car Rental Company that tries to accommodate all your needs. We wanted an early morning pick up and drop off late evening. They were able to serve clients 24 hrs a day.

Good

My experience was regular,the day of the date of the pick up i had to pick up the van in the airport office and it wasn't prepared, We had to go to Reykjavik office to pick up there three hours after.
