Everything was fine, good car, good service, good price

Fast communication, perfect service from the Lava Car Rental Team. The Car was in good condition, so we had no problems on our tour up to the Westfjords and in the south.

Our Dacia Duster was excellent for our Iceland exploring. Return was a bit confusing though. There was not a sign on the building and when we finally located the correct unit, it had a sign informing that they had moved locations. New location was just around the corner but also not easily recognizable. Be aware of this and just be sure to ask directions when you initially pick up the vehicle. Otherwise, great company, great price and good service.

Preparing documents at your office was very short and simple. The car was in a very good condition. Car was well prepared for roads and weather. Staff was friendly and professional.

I changed my opinion about Dacia Duster. The car is just perfect and good to go on 4x4 roads.

everything went perfectly fine

It was a very long wait at thr airport to get picked up. And the return was a disaster because waze took us to another office and nobodu was there. We almos miss our flight because it was really hard to find the return office. The car uses extremely too much gas. Other tan that Iceland is beautiful

We used Northbound and Lava Car Rental for the first time in our 7 days trip. Everything went smooth about renting process. The car was in good condition, getting the car and drop off was also quick and hassle free. One point I can add on downside, we were among the last ones picked up from the airport, some other companies even made two rounds while we were waiting. We had to wait for a while although the flight was landing on time. It was acceptable for us but could be issue for others.

No problems. Great pricing and no unexpected hidden fees. Easy pick up and drop off at airport.

Vehicle's navigation was absolutely useless we had to use our phone for directions.

Perfect ! Everything went somthly, Car was in perfect condition , no issues on gravel roadsµ.

Really great experience. Guys would answer my phone calls and assist me very friendly, they are forthcoming and really normal guys. No problem at all about the car - quick pickup, drop off, explained to me everything well about the Icelandic traffic regulations etc. The car was also great.

The car key didn’t work properly, baterry I guess.. Right car door had a big dent from another crash and after 2 days they couldn’t close properly, Right light didn’t work. My frends had 3 cars from Blue rental and they were perfect condition. 25.8. at 4:40 we came to Lava and nobody was there, at 5h came the man who came to work and was suprised that we were alone and nobody was at the desk.

Great car, great service. No nonsense. In and out quickly. One comment, the car was spotlessly clean but do not put wax/polish/Armorall on the floor mats, it makes them so slippery that it is a hazard.

My experience with the booking and the info that i was sent by Northbound and Lava was first class. The car itself was pretty battered but proved to be reliable and got us to where we wanted to go. My only issue is that we took out the Platinum insurance which was probably a waste of money considering that every panel on the car was scratched and/or dented. Overall, i would consider using Lava again when i next visit Iceland.
