I was delighted by the upgrade I received for a Mitsubushi automatic. Very positive experience.

First impression wasn't that good. There were nobody from Ring waiting for us at the airport. Luckily I had internet and could contact them on Whatsapp. A driver came to pick up other guests and forgot about us, I had to chase him on the parking lot and he drove us to pick up the car. The car was very good and once at the Ring facility everything was great.

I've enjoyed the car and all the suport of the team!

Dear Northbound-Team, all the service and handling were great: booking, adjustments that had to be made due to dates and times shifts, check-in and check-out with the My-Car Team! The van camping was the best way to experience everything. It was easy to drive and amenities were convenient. Wi-Fi worked amazingly fast. We were able to go when we pleased as close to the places we wanted to see. Best idea ever.

Good car and we enjoyed the tent on the roof, quick and confortable. A lot of material in the car: kitchen items, fridge etc...

Very good equiped car, comfortable. The only thing was, the 4x4 car, allowed on F-roads, had not good tires for F-roads. I would prefer Suzuki Gran vitara or Dacia Duster the next time. Better for gravelroads.

Hello, thank you for asking. I have had the best experience with Star Car Rental. The car was in excellent condition and the rental company acted very professionally and kindly. I recommend.

Great service at the pickup. Car was in excellent condition. Camping with the roof tent in general it was great, also because of the good weather. The roof tent was missing locking pins - while driving the F35 the locks opened because of the shocks. We fixed it temporarily with key rings, but Lotus should pay better attention to that. A real pain point of the roof tent is that the head end of the matras gets wet when you need to close the tent in the rain. Wegennet rains, the outside is wet of course, but also the condens at the inside does not dry. Lotus should provide instructions and a plastic cover or some other protection for the matras. Now we had to fix it with garbage bags (after the first matras wetting had been done). Definitely room for improvement here. We have seen other roof tent campers with the same problem. CarPlay in the Duster was not stable. Probably a problem if this specific car. Tried different cables and different iPhones, all with the same problem. The unlimited free WiFi (part of the the most expensive insurance, of which I am still not sure if it’s a sensible thing to take) was great. Saved us a lot of mobile data. Drop off and the transfer to the airport where great again.

Amazing trip! Will definitely book with Northbound again. They were quick to respond when we had an issue with our heater and everything was very quickly and easily remedied. It also helps that cost wise Northbound came in top and included all the basic creature comforts one might need for a road trip round Iceland.

It was a good experience but the condition of the car was not great. It had many scratches and bumps all around which wasn’t repaired. We also paied extra for wi fi but it didn’t work at all. Last day a rock hit our windshield and made a very small crack. Unfortunately we paied 800€ because we didnt have any insurance. If this much money is asked just for a small crack why aren’t they repairing the condition of the car. Stuff was very polite and paitent with us but this repirment price was deffinetly overexpensive.

The car drop off process needs to be improved. We waited for over 30 minutes to drop off the car and get a ride to the airport. We started panicking at one point when the shuttle driver said he “would be right back” a second time and we were asking people who were picking up their cars if they would take us to the airport. We planned to be 2 hours early for our flight and by the time we arrived at the airport we had just over an hour. If there were any lines we may have missed our flight.

The car was OK and met our needs. Great service at pickup and return of the car, both at the airport and the office. I rented two Dacia Duster. One was clean and one was a bit dusty,
