Car Rentals in Iceland

The car was perfect for our purpose of driving around the whole Island. It performed well on bumpy gravel, wet roads and as our sleeping quarters. Highly recommended!

It was just right for our three person vacation.

The car was suprisingly Spa koud. We were travelling as a family of 5 and after a good set of Tetris, we managed to find the ideal loading way of our luggage (5 carry on trolleys & 5 30l backpacks + grocery shopping items). We managed to be able to hold items from the other car (our friends)as well without being uncomfortable in the car. Although the car was not equipped with Ian c, after purchasing a regular usb cable for our phones, we managed to use CarPlay all around Iceland for navigation. We appreciated the seat heating as well :) I recommend this car for travels!

It was a perfect car, booked via Northbound with Lava Cars. Perfect service from both Northbound and Lava Cars. I would book this again this way next time!

Pick up was a disaster. Wait 37 minutes, had to call , never receive apology for the delay, with 2 little kids of 1 and 3 years old + the fact that they knew our flight number , it’s just unacceptable. The Car rental part was normal service. I choose an Icelandic company on purpose instead of big rental company like sixt etc… That pick up made me regret…

Really nice car, with a nice tent on the top! The pickup system was so bad! I would recommend you to make a better system, so none of your guests will wait in the airport one hour like us. The system is confusing, so make sure you make it more clear!!

Great experience travelling around Iceland with Dacia Duster special edition, equipped with a double bed in the back, gas stove and all you need for cooking... definitely the best and cheapest solution for enjoying nature and make a great experience in wildlife. Excellent also for driving on F-road! 100% recommended far better than car + tend or car + roof tend. We loved it! Andrea - Italy

Lovely car, full of the latest gizmos. We had a car for two separate weekends and the customer service team forgot our airport pickup on the first weekend - I had to ring to chase it. The staff were lovely though and pick up/drop off was very smooth

The 4x4 2018 Dacia Duster Manual is a wonderful choice in Iceland as of unpredictable weather. Well maintained, smooth driving, clean and comfortable and moreover spacious also. One important quality of the Duster is reliable and trustworthy Vehicle. I am in Luv with Dacia Duster.💜
