Rijo Campers was a great and affordable option for camping around Iceland! Clear and quick communication over WhatsApp since we could not call due to no international phone plan, very friendly, was willing to drop us off at our hotel afterwards. Highly recommend!

I booked a Nissan XTrail and got a KIA Sorento. The change was OK and the KIA met all my expectations and requirements. The shuttle to and from the airport was very good and on time. The service from Lavacarrental was also very good. I had full insurance and that was good. A flat tire and a stone chip in the windshield were no problem, Lavacarrental sorted everything out without any complications. Thank you very much. I can definitely recommend Lavacarrental.

Everything went extremely well. One suggestion would be to include the phone number for the local taxi for those going to and from the cruise terminal. +354 451-1010.

Experience was great. Rented through a third party with the full insurance. Wish I’d rented directly and got the insurance directly. Took a risk getting the insurance through the third party, but didn’t have any issues or need the insurance. Car was what I paid for: a less expensive alternative without any bells or whistles. Car was in fair shape, but made me less worried about any dings or dents. Would rent here again.

I rented a car from Firefly via Northbound for one week and it was a really good experience. I actually got a much bigger car than I had chosen, it was clean and very nice to drive so I was super happy with that! Pick up and drop off was uncomplicated, it went fast and smoothly and the staff was friendly. All in all I got very good service for rather low price!

The service was excellent: - Replies to emails prior to our arrival were quick and clear; - The staff monitored our flight and a person waited for us at the airport to take us to the office where we pick up the vehicle; - The signing of the contract was quick and the staff then explained to us in detail everything we needed to know about the vehicle; - On returning the van we were taken back to the airport by the staff. The van we rented matched the description (Dacia Dokker) and was in excellent condition, both inside and out. The vehicle had everything we needed and the spaces were organised perfectly. The only thing I would suggest adding is a scraper to remove ice (I didn't need one but I have the impression that in winter it might be useful).

Great reliable car that was easy to drive and met our needs for travelling the ring road and west fjords. Ivar was extremely helpful and accommodating with pick up and drop off. We would definitely recommend this company and this car.

So glad we chose Rijo Campers! Our Rav 4 was great, comfy, clean, and gave us no issues! Some of our friends rented with another company and their car ended up having tons of issues. The customer service was great as well! So glad we booked with Rijo!

Easy process in ordering the car. Friendly and helpful employees. Car was clean and ready to go. All systems worked. Much space for up to 4 suitcases and a couple of backpacks in the trunk.

Everything perfect, camper full equipped, price is worth it.

The pick up was late, I contacted northbound staff by chat with excellent support and then I called Icerental by phone to ask about it and they arrived in that moment but almost 1 hour late after arrival time and without any apologies, the condition of the vehicle was excellent but after couple miles we left the location we detected a low pressure tire alert in the screen, we found a gas station to regulate the pressure but the alert continue, we had to drive back to the Icerental location to ask about it and they fixed quickly but we lost another time there. Out of this main picking delay everything was pretty good and was a great experience with the vehicle including the drop off with a very nice and kind driver

It was perfect! The heater is a must with the cold weather at night and the bed was so comfortable!! Thanks for all of these memories we have made !!

I got a Mitsubishi Eclipse. A Upgrade of the car. But I think it's was an older car with over 80000 kilometers. Normally I booked a Car which is not older as 2023!!!

We received a Suzuki S-Cross hybrid, which was fine. IceRental were fine although at the start they only took the drivers from the airport, which was ok for us, but had it been our first ever visit, or the driver wasn't the one with the credit card, this would have been a very stressful and unsettling start.

It was the perfect car for the Iceland Ring Road and the F-roads. We were able to ford the creeks without any problems.

Bonjour; le Fiat Doblo automatic à tres bien fonctionné, nous n'avons eu aucun problème avec la mecanique de la voiture. Mais les aménagements pourraient être améliorés: la glacière ne tient pas debout, le chauffage fait beaucoup de bruit et chauffe très peu, le jerrican d'eau est difficile d'acces, on peut rajouter des rangements sur les parois de la cabine, sinon le matelas et les duvets sont de bonne qualité.

Great size car for us and very nice rooftent. Overall superhappy with the whole experience and would do it again!

The car was in very good condition. Just perfect for a four person doing the Ring Road.

Wir waren im September 2024 in Island und hatten einen Dacia Dokker Camper, leider ohne Standheizung. Es war daher sehr kalt und wir würden ein anderes Auto beim nächsten Mal wählen. Das Auto an sich hatte alles was wir brauchten und der Service vor Ort war super. Es war ein Modell, welches schon einige Schäden hatte, was uns allerdings nicht gestört hat. Das einzige Manko waren die Dichtungen, die leider immer wieder rausgefallen sind. Wir würden jederzeit wieder über Northbound ein Auto mieten, da sowohl Buchung und Abgabe problemlos funktionierten. Im Jahr 2022 hatten wir bereits schon einmal hier gebucht, mussten aber aufgrund einer Corona-Erkrankung stonieren, was ohne weiteres nach Abstimmung mit northbound möglich war. Vielen Dank für die tolle Arbeit und den freundlichen Umgang!

No recomiendo esta camper, no ha estado del todo mal y el problema no es la camper, es la compañía, nos dieron la camper llena de basura, con la puerta rota, las ruedas deshinchadas y enchufes rotos. Su trato no fue agradable. Lavar car no es una buena compañía con la que alquilar un coche en Islandia, sin embargo, con Northbound todo fue muy fácil y el trato fue increíble.
