Hi, Ívar. They gave me a fantastic Mazda CX60 hybrid instead the Hyundai, with nearly half a tank. Very good driving experience!! A very powerful and smooth driving car, comfortable and safe. Maybe, the initial information on pickup was given too fast for us and we couldn´t use the wifi dispositive and we never could charge the battery either, but it wasn´t really a problem. I had never driven an hybrid... The best thing was when we unfortunatelly had a flat tire, the last day in the longest drive of our travel, because of the sharps stones in a prepairing new road. Even as early in the morning, they moved people to help us near Egilstadir and they solved the problem in a few hours (I had to send an image of the damage and our location). The company talked to the mechanics and my paid insurance covered the substitution of the tire. The repairing kit given with the car was not able to stamp the damage. At drop off, they took the car with its new wheel without any problem. I will highly recommend this company! Thanks!! PS. It was really strange that the other car travelling with us, always driving behind us, never got as dirty as ours. Design affair, I suppose! (It doesn´t matter! You can clean the car for free in several places during the travel around Iceland). Your country is a unique place in the world and we, the two families, have been very happy there. Thanks again!

Everything was right except the welcome from rental employee. Very few explanations and I hardly understand and hear him when speaking.

Fue un Mazda CX5 de ACE RENTAL. Muy bien excepto parabrisas agrietado, no grave, y ruedas gastadas, por debajo de la marca de aviso, esto más serio y me preocupo todo el viaje.

Meeting my expectations, all went well

Wir haben ein Auto vom Typ 2021 Hyundai Tucson Automatic gebucht und haben einen Mazda CX-5 erhalten. Die Abwicklung mit Go Iceland hat sehr gut funktioniert inkl. Transfer zum Gelände des Vermieters auch beim Rückflug mitten in der Nacht. Der Zustand des Autos war super! Besonders begeistert waren wir vom integrierten Navigationssystem, dass wir nicht explizit gebucht hatten sowie dem mobilen WIFI. Vor dem Urlaub gab es allerdings einige Bedenken, weil an verschiedenen Stellen unterschiedliche Informationen zu finden waren bzgl. dem Vorweisen einer Nicht-Prepaid-Kreditkarte. Schließlich hat mit der Vollkaskoversicherung und unserer Prepaid-Kreditkarte alles vor Ort einwandfrei funktioniert.

I think IS the ideal car to go through the whole Island. I want to celebrate to meet Harpa because she helped me several times before renting this car.

The Caravelle was a great vehicle for our family of 4 plus bikes and luggage. Our only improvement would have been to take the rear seat out to make storing all of our gear easier. I did request that when we picked up the vehicle but was told by Go Iceland that they weren’t willing to do that.

I know there are lots of situations and conditions on the road when traveling in Iceland. That is why I purposely booked a 2023 model cars. The company gave us a trailhawk version which was nice with lots of features. ACC is definitely a must when traveling in Iceland, to give you safety and avoid speeding tickets. After pickup the car and drive to the city, I noticed that the car keep driving toward one side. so I check the tire pressure, One of the tire only had 2.0 comparing to others with 2.5. I was glad that I brought my own tire gauge and pump. Also the car also had a tire pressure monitor, which I did not find out until I was more familiar with the car, and it helped me monitor the tire pressure along the trip. I noticed that the tire that was under pressure keep losing pressure slowly. We had to find a shop to repair it. There was a nail in the tire. LIkes: I choose the complete package with full insurance, additional drivers, and they gave us a free Wi-Fi which was a nice companion on the road. It was a good value and hassle free. I was happy that the company provided a new model of cars with lots of features. ***Just a little reminder, I had a 3 times that the ACC, and emmrgency Brake showed error. I could not use the ACC. They problem was that too many dead bugs covering the sensor infront of the grill. You will need to clean it from time to time. What could have made the rental experience better? 1)I wish they have check the car more detail check and clean the car better. 2) new car has lots of features, If they can give a brief walk thru, that would have been nice. Customer would have appreciate the new car even more. 3) the new Jeep Compass was a hybrid, the car came with a 220v plug. if the company could have prepared a cable for the On Power and many hotels, that we could have charged the car and make is more economical and appreciate the fully loaded feature of the car!

I have paid tunnel 2 times because of my late in the payment. And the answer of your man: it’s was for the next trip… I’m not satisfied by this answer.

The car was great as we're the people who helped us with it.

This was a fantastic vehicle with very smooth seamless checkout and check-in. The representative met us at the airport as mentioned. They have a bus driver coming every 20-30 min, so if you don't see anyone no need to call the number provided. The car handled very well and was perfect for the the ring road and golden circle roads.

Instead of a "4x4 2022 Nissan Qashqai Automatic" we got a "4x4 Jeep Renegade Automatic" and after several tries we found to fit our only two suitcases in the trunk wich is really smaller than the Qashqai's. Luckily, we were only two persons and we had planned the washing of some clothes to limit the luggage volume. The rear deck was not available (it would have prevented us from closing the rear door once we put our luggage in) and we were concerned because we rarely slept more than one night in the same hotel : our luggage was in the car all day long. After a few km, we discovered that it was a "hybrid" vehicle because I got no information about the specificities when picking it up, apart from the type of benzin needed. The vehicle was recent (mileage < 15000 km), we got no mechanic issue and no one stole our luggage. The vehicle was clean inside but not outside. We returned it in the same state.
