Go Iceland in Iceland

We actually had a Mazda3 for our rental. Car was good, we had no problems. Airport pick up was frustrating as the Go Iceland representative was difficult to find and when he was found it was only pure luck that led us to him. A designated meeting spot would be very helpful, perhaps right next to the airport information desk.

When we arrive to Go Iceland, they gave us anorher car. A Dacia 4x2. The customer service was ok and the shutle airport too. We prefer another car more confortable, but the DACIA has run very well. Qt the end, all has been ok with GO Iceland

Vehicle ran well. Shifted great. Is a little smaller then I had expected as we had 3 teenage boys sitting in the back seat. Hatch space was not good. (2) suitcases would not fit. We had to open up the suitcases and scatter clothes to et both suitcases in the car. We did ask if there were any larger vehicles to upgrade to, but there were not. Description said seats 5 and 2 large suitcases. Not exactly correct. I should have researched the cars better. Staff was excellent, pleasant and easy to work with. It did take about 30 miutes for a shuttle driver to arrive at the airport to pick us up. Additional shuttle buses and drivers would help. Solid experience though. Loved Iceland!

We got a small Mazda not a Hyundai, it was not explained why. The car was ok. We also booked a Satnav, but the maps were outdated. We mostly had to use Google Maps and local map.

We rented a Hyundai i10 for 5 days, and overall, the car matched its price point. However, we encountered a few issues during our trip. On the second day, the rear left door got stuck and wouldn't open for the rest of the rental period. On the third day, we started having trouble with the trunk and the key. The trunk would only open after repeatedly pressing the button on the key, and it seemed like the key's battery was running low, making all operations take much longer than expected. Despite these issues, we were generally satisfied with our experience and would consider renting from this company again. The Hyundai i10 has excellent fuel efficiency and offers great value for budget-conscious travelers. We might even rent the Hyundai i10 again in the future, as its affordability and fuel economy make it a strong choice for economical trips.

The car was a little bit banged up but that wasn't a problem for me. Everything else except pickup was perfect. By the time we got off the airport at 2 am there were dozens of people waiting for pickup like me and the pickup car only had the capacity of 8. The pickup car was also carrying customers from other companies and there were only 1 small van for dozens of people waiting from various companies. In the end we couldn't keep waiting and ended up taking a cab to the rental office. I also saw other customers arriving in a cab like me. It's clear that there needs to be more cars during peak arrival hours. I would have probably chosen a company stationed inside the airport if I knew pickup was going to be this messy. At some point the driver got so stressed out by dozens of people asking questions he threw the board to the ground from frustration. The situation is clearly stressful for him too. But other than that I'm really happy with the car in general

The car was e Maxda CX-5, it was ok, but the car had some bumps and the right side wiper was broken and the visibility was therefore restricted and we had to clean by hand. We also found some waste from the previously customer, which was not so amazing. Bur all in all it was ok.
