The Toyota Corolla hybrid wagon was a great car to drive during our three days in Iceland! Economical, roomy for 2 adults and 2 bigger kids with luggage, perfect to park in tight spots, and more than enough power in sport mode to pass slower cars.

I was a bit sceptical at first but ended up loving this small car, we drove the entire ring road in Iceland with it, steep winding mountains, gravel roads, rainy day, we used cruise control and it worked very well. This vehicle is perfect for 2 ppl with 2 luggages.

Excellent experience with MyCar. The front desk employees were very efficient and courteous and the car performed as expected. It had a small dent in the back bumper that I didn’t notice at pickup, but fortunately I took photos of the car from every angle at the MyCar parking lot before driving it, so I have evidence that the dent was present before I took the car. I showed the photos that I took at pickup to the MyCar employee when I returned the vehicle.

Northbound gave us clear information and great support in the process of booking. Pick-up at MYCAR went fast and drop-off with shuttle service made the way back to the airport effortless for us. The car Toyota Yaris hybrid from 2022 was in great condition, very comfortable and easy to drive on R1. We highly recommend Northbound and MYCAR rental!

Hi MYCAR, We had a great time traveling in Iceland with the car rental from your company (2023 Toyota Corolla Cross-Hybrid). It did everything well. Great acceleration when needed; nice big monitor when backing up; plenty of cargo space for 4 adults and all our luggage; auto-collapsing side-view mirrors when door is locked. The sign-up was easy, and staff was friendly and courteous. We would love to do this all over again!

Car was fine, well equipped, although the driver's cabin was a bit cramped, meaning my knee was always pressed to the centre column. That's a design issue, and not Northbound's fault, though. The only real gripe was that the car was advertised with SatNav/GPS, but actually came with a WiFi box. Android Auto kept disconnecting (on both of our phones) so doesn't work as far as I'm concerned. This meant the passenger had to hold the phone and dictate the route, as there was no cradle. Either way, this arrangement should be corrected in the listing.
