Outstanding!

We had a great time in Iceland with the Toyota RAV4. We went around the whole island and saw a lot of this beautiful country. If we ever go back we definitely would rent al car again with MYCAR.

I enjoyed driving the car, it met our needs well. It would have been useful if the leasing company had told us how to release the petrol cap flap though, we ended up having to Google it!

Everything was great, we even got an upgrade free of charge. The vehicle was in perfect conditions and loved the flexibility in drop-off hours. If I were looking for some improvement areas maybe I would suggest having a small driving guide in the car with the meaning of the road signs and maybe some tips, even tho one does previous research, it would come in handy. Also, I think pick-up instructions could be clearer adding more detail in the steps one has to take and how much time it will take, he had to adjust our itinerary last minute because we got the email one day before about only having shuttle availabaility every hour. Thank you for the great service, it made our stay much more enjoyable!

The Proace was a pretty awesome van! Just wished it had heated seats and bluetooth. Other than that, everything from check in to drop off was easy and smooth. I would definitely recommend northbound to book your next rental!

Outstanding customer service from start to finish. Unfortunately we had a puncture but the regular support and help from George was superb. Finding several garages on our route to repair the tyre and being available both quickly and out of hours. Thank you George. I wouldn’t use anyone else other than Northbound for car hire in Iceland

Booking the van online was very easy. The van was very clean and in excellent shape. The only issue we had with the picked at airport. Our flight was delayed from 6:30am until 7:00am. When we got to the visitor's desk, there was nobody there. Nobody was holding up a MyCAR sign either. I called customer service phone number, but nobody was in the office, and I got an answering machine! You had my mobile # and really should have texted me. This should be part of your pickup process, especially since you do NOT have a manned booth at the airport. For those 15-20 minutes until Dominic arrived, it was NOT fun! Dominic was great when he arrived, but after a long flight a simple text with his EST arrival time would have made this process VERY EASY.

The whole process of renting the car is very smooth and easy, highly recommend to take up the premium Insurance as there are many unforseen situations that may happens during the ride, else highly recommend for their service and quality of the car.

I’m from the US and I’ve experience countless times where the rental company sneaks in trivial terms and conditions to charge extra or just rob me off. I wasn’t sure that I was getting the promised vehicle prior to arrival, but the whole thing went so smooth and it was priced so reasonably. I have to say that this has to be the best rental experience I’ve ever had, and the Land Cruiser’s off-roading capabilities brought extra joy and unexpected experience to the journey. 10/10!
