Icerental 4x4 in Iceland

The overall experience was good. The best price I could find in the web. The car behave very well and the staff was very customer friendly.

The Suzuki Vitara we rented was generally ok. When we picked up the car we found that the dashboard had a number of the lights on. They had recently changed the wheels and the dashboard was saying that pressure wasn’t right. After one day the change oil light came on as the car had to be serviced. We didn’t have any trouble with the car but for a company that is renting cars on a regulat basis I would expect that they are well serviced and checked before they are rented out to customers. The team where very helpful at picking us at the airport and dropping us back to the airport but the rental company is about 10 mins away. I would make sure to leave yourself plenty of time when returning the car as they need to check to car and the driver could also be at the airport picking up other passengers. Overall it was an ok experience but I would definitely get a car with more horse power next time.

I liked the car. Everything went well. The only issue was that the car had high mileage, and was an older model. Also, the backup lights did not work. Got hard sell to buy insurance, even though I had coverage from my credit card provider. Thanks, I would use service again

I didn't get support to use GPS from Icerental4x4 . We paid for GPS and the GPS is not user friendly, it only knows few places and couldn't put the address I wanted to go to. The people at the rental office are not cooperative to show how to use it and one guy suggested to use POI and was horriable experiance to go from one place to another. We ended up to come to the office by selecting Drop off option from the list and asked to drop us to our hotel as wecouldn't put the address to the hotel and we paid extra to go to airport next day

Car was great. Windshield wipers were worn out already and didn’t do a good job when it was raining.

It was a very nice vehicle. Not a luxury vehicle but very accommodating and reliable. It rode nice and was easy to drive.

Great experience from beginning to end. They picked us up late at night to take the the office. Upon drop off we were also able to check out in a timely manner. Had no problems with the car we rented. I would definitely recommend this rental company.

The car I got was a bit run down (we got a Jeep, not the Suzuki). The biggest drawback however was the amount of gas this car consumed. I've never seen anything like it and it bit a big chunk off of our budget. That aside, the car worked well and we had no technical difficulties whatsoever. Service was nice and friendly (Chris) and I would book through them again.

I would have to say we had a very good experience from Northbound. The only issue would have been if our other two friends came to share the vehicle. Unfortunately they had to cancel there trip at the last minute. If there had been four the vehicle would have been too small, with all our luggage. The vehicle was great for just two of us. Driving in Iceland was very easy. Thank you so much.

Excellent experience. The Ford Expedition was several years old, but big enough for 6 people with luggage, and had many dents and broken parts. Most of the damaged areas were marked on the sheet. I expressed concern about those that were not marked and the employee suggested I video the vehicle. We did do a video before we drove away, but did not need it when we returned the vehicle and with no new damages. I would rent from Icerental 4x4 again.

Icerental 4x4 was great. The car was in good shape and we had no issues with it for the 4 days we rented it.

We liked our experience! It was easy to make a reservation and we appreciated the carpool from the airport. It was also the cheaper price we found! The discount in every N1 was also very appreciated! The only think to improve is the waiting time for the carpool when we first arrived. We had to wait around 30-45 minutes for the carpool. Other passengers that arrived before us had to wait 1h30 too.

The car was in good condition and pick-up at Midnight went smoothly. The return process was a bit messy and we suddenly found ourselves in a van to the airport with no real signoff on the car. All went okay though.

Excellent! I cannot find anything to complain about. Staff were friendly and helpful. Car was great and suited my needs.

We were greeted by a rep on arrival at Keflavik airport, who was courteous and friendly. There is a short 10 mins ride to the office, where we were handed a clean Suzuki Vitara 4X4. The paperwork, ID checking & explanations were on point with no issues. There was also no issues with a sales culture pushing Sat-nav's or excess insurance, although we were given the option. I only have one comment: - We had a warning sign on the dashboard for tyre pressure and service. We highlighted this to the rep & we were told that this would be fine and to drive on. We had to endure an annoying warning sign for the entirety of the 4-day hire. Another customer who hired 5 mins prior to us also had the same issue.

My experience with Northbound was very good. Staff were friendly and efficient. The only suggestion i would make would be for your company to emphasise the fact that the car has a navigation system and that it notifies you of upcoming speed cameras.

We would recomend icerental 4x4 to others, rented an older car but it was in an excellent condition. Because the car didnt had an build in gps they gave us WiFi to use Google maps on our phone for Free. Pick-up and drop off service worked quite well. The rating 4,5 i gave could have been 5 if the company would take a bit more time to hand over the car
