Great

Great

Perfect car for four of us and our luggage. Didn’t realize that airport pickup was every hour and it was late at night so we took a cab to get the rental. Location and hourly pickup wasn’t clear to me when i rented. Also bought insurance at the same time but when we got the car he said we insured it from an outside company and we would have to prepay for damage. Plus insurance added a huge fee after the insurance rate. Ended up paying $600 for one week of insurance

Fantastic!

My car team are absolutely fabulous, they are helpful and friendly. The team also give us some sound advises on travelling spots and driving tips. Love them and the vehicle also very reliable, we went some exotic places. It works perfectly under all weather condition, which it what we wanted in Iceland.

Very pleasant an easy. The car had only 60.000 km, was clean and in a good condition, employees were very friendly and helpful. Drop off was extraordinary, the shuttle took us to our hotel. Thanks for that again!

As per previous reviews, I was extremely pleased with Northbound. On top of the tough to beat rates, their online booking system was great, instructions very clear, great communications, before, during and after the trip. We were bumped up to a much better vehicle than booked. Pick up and drop off were super fast and convenient.

The car is spacious and easy to drive, it took us everywhere we wanted to go. In my personal rating there is a bit too much electronics in it - too much "beeeep" and "bing bing" without any recognizable reason. Opening and closing the back door (luggage compartment) is an excellent example. You never know which buttons to press in which sequence to really accomplish the process without any "beeps" with no action. But in general, it is a nice, reliable, and easy car with sufficient ground clearance and good traction.

Everything was great with the Northbound web service. The thing I think you could improve is to make additional costs more visible to the end user. As for all rent-a-car companies, as always, they are listing a bunch of other insurance taxes the moment you pick up the car. The booking we made had a free-of-charge collision, theft, and gravel protection - everything that was stated at the moment of booking. But in the MYCAR office at the pickup they told us, there is also a wind damage protection for the doors and a few other things so we had to pay additional 360 euros for the total coverage. I would like that we could see these expenses while booking at the northbound. Everything else was great, car, service, pickup, 5 out of 5.

Very responsive for the arrangement to pick up after midnight. Everything went smoothly and the car was in great condition, well maintained and clean. Very happy with the choice of the vehicle for the ring road trip, felt secured while going through some of the more challenging routes. Overall very happy.

The whole interaction and communications to rent my car was excellent. Everything was as advertised. from booking the car online through northbound to the car rental company Mycar. Mycar as a rental company was also excellent. The service provided was very helpful from the pickup and return to the airport to how to operate the rental vehicle especially with the use of the sat nav.

The Toyota Yaris was new, very confortable and clean. The costumer service from Northbound was exellent: always answered my questions and clarified any doubts that I had. The staff from MyCar were also very efficient: fast pick up at the airport and the same for the return. I would defintely recommend Northband and MYCAR vehicles to everyone!
