Good

An hour after picking up the car, in our first stop, we realized it had a front light broken. We didn’t saw it when picking it up because from Ring didn’t advise to check the vehicle before signing up the car damage sheet (which I believe it’s an important part). They just give you the sheet to sign. We called them an explained that we noticed the broken light and that it could not have been us and luckily they understood and uploaded it in the system. But it could have been worse and make it our fault. They should just advise to review the vehicle before taking it.

We were very happy with the car and the service from Ring. The car was really new (26.000 km), clean and perfect to explore the whole country without any problems. We can really recommend both the dacia duster, the Ring car rental and booking with northbound! Thanks for everything.

Everything went very smoothly. Someone from Ring Rentals picked us up at the airport. He and the other two guys at Ring were very friendly and picking up the car at their facilities was easy and fast. We were very happy with the car through the whole week and also returning the car was easy and uncomplicated. Thank you very much.

Great Experience with the vehicle rental we had in Iceland. I must admit i was a bit confused when we arrived at the airport and finding the rental car shuttle. The Ring guys were amazing and everyone was extremely accommodating.

Transacting with Ring Rental was very smooth. From the moment we booked our car to our departure, everything was just so smooth including all their instructions. We had to ask them thru Whatsapp about the tire pressure and they picked up right away. The car that we rented (4x4 2022 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross Automatic) was so clean when we got it and it was just perfect while we drove around the Ring Road (and some detours outside the Ring Road). We never encountered any problem with it which was perfect since we were there for just 6 days. For our last day, we arrived a bit late and we had a flight to catch. Instead of waiting for the shuttle, the guy in their office just decided to drive us to the airport using the car that we rented so we won't miss our flight. Excellent service! Will definitely recommend Ring Rental to our family and friends who will be going to Iceland.

Excellent

Robust car with adequate space for 5 people with luggage. Still equipped with physical “controls” like the “old school” handbrake. Satnav ok, but not entirely up to date. Close ratio gears need some time to get used to. Car handles well while driving through strong wind gusts. Drop off at the Ring office is a disadvantage, especially very early in the morning. Suggest drop off facility near airport.

Very Good

The car was great ! We enjoyed the whole experience in Iceland however , We think Ring should know USA operates on 12 hour clocks We we’re surprised to be charged an extra day for a 3:00 pm return, as the agent showed us 3:00 in Iceland can only mean 3:00 am . To him our 2:00 return was 11 hours late. To us it was 1 hour early. We never use 24 hours clock scheduling in USA. To prevent that from happening again the agent should clearify that with the customer because that is good customer service .We had a wonderful time

We rented a Duster from Ring and had a great experience, both with the car itself and Ring. The only complaint is when packing it with 5 people (4 adults and 1 child) the cabin space got really tight in the back seat. A Toyota RAV4 would have been more spacious for people and luggage/gear. But the car drove really well. Ring staff were very kind and helpful and the pick up and drop off process was the quickest I have experienced in years. We had zero issues on our 9 day trip. Thank you!
