Really happy with the 4x4 Dacia Duster, it was perfectly suited for the road conditions and it felt like a safe car to drive. It was good with fuel and comfortable to drive. And the interior screens and tech worked very well. Overall very happy with the car

Hello, Thank you for your email and your interest in whether we were satisfied with the car we rented from you and your service. Here are some of my thoughts: 1. The shuttle service to and from the airport was fine. 2. The paperwork was handled very professionally, although the employee spoke extremely fast, making it very difficult to follow him. But overall, it was okay. 3. Now, regarding the car. I had booked an SUV, a 2024 Opel Crossland X Manual (or equivalent), but what I received was a very, very old Suzuki. The car had 390,000 km on it and numerous exterior damages. In addition, there were technical issues, such as the passenger-side window, which we were instructed not to open as there was a risk of it falling out. The rear windshield wiper was missing, the front wipers were well past their prime, the studded tires and brake discs were in borderline condition. The car was, unfortunately, a disappointment. However, we did not want to cause any issues with your company or risk ending up without a car, so we decided to adjust our driving style to suit the old-timer and focus on enjoying our vacation. I would strongly recommend that you stop renting out this car. Best regards, Xaver Huber

All great, car in good condition, clean and tidy and fully roadworthy. Excellent staff, very polite Nd straightforward. Guys were helpful and did everything to explain basic basic Icelandic driving rules, parking, road fees, refueling etc. Will definitely use them again 🙂

The car was fine. As it was a manual you could feel that many people with different driving styles drove this car already. On the second day a warning appeared that the anti pollution system needs to be checked. We contacted the road service and got a quick response that we can continue driving. Picking up the car took quite a while as there were too many customers for the 3 people working there. Dropoff went fast but it was early in the morning so there weren't that many other customers. The car was clean and drove us from a to b without any problems.

I had a great experience renting the 2023 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross Automatic from Icerental 4x4. The car was a perfect choice for our short stay as a couple—comfortable, reliable, and well-equipped. Thankfully, we had good weather, but I appreciated that the car had multiple driving modes in case of heavy snow or rough road conditions. The only minor downside was the pickup process at the desk, where they tried to upsell me on their "Platinum, Silver, etc." insurance, even though my booking already included full coverage through Northbound. I had to mention this myself, which felt a bit unnecessary. That aside, the overall experience was smooth. If you book everything online, you get a fair price and a sturdy, well-maintained car. Would definitely recommend!
