Even if we had a problem with the car (Adbleu error) lava just sent us a new car at our location on the evenîng. Very nice service and very good reactivity. Droppoff was done at the door of the airport hotel Dont change anything it’s just perfect

My experience in Iceland was great. It was everything that I expected and wanted. It was better than my last visit so many moons ago. If it wasn't for northbound.is Lava Rental. I would not have been able to complete all of my experience from the land of Fire an Ice, Thank you for the rental the car was in good condition when we received we were able to travel far. One suggestion when your folks pickup or drop off have them help your client with their baggage some do but not all. Thanks Loved it all.

We did not get the Dacia. We got an "upgrade" which unfortunately was a hybrid ( electric, petrol ) with a battery with very small capacity. You should not offer rental cars with that small battery since it doesnt make sense. As a tourist you don't have the chance to charge the battery via house electricity.

We had a brand new Dacia Duster. All was great.

The camper was ok, everything clean and very complete. But heat broke at day 2.. and it was freezing. They made us a little discount for that.

Everything was as expected and went smoothly. Campervan was definitely the way to go for us. Plenty of room and cooking tools and beds were great!

Dacia was a perfect choice for our Iceland trip. There was only one thing wrong and that is the tire wrench. It had a malfunction so we had a problem with changing our tire.

All around the world I never had a terrible rental car like this Dacia Duster (2 years old and more than 175.000 km) - for a price thats more worth than the total car :-(

We had a terrific experience because of the "Petite Lava" as our vehicle came to be called. I booked this vehicle well in advance and it went seamlessly upon pickup and return. The staff without exception was amazing from pickup and drop off at the airport to accommodating us as we prepared for our 3600 km travelling adventure. In hindsight I would have rented a larger vehicle (I'm 6'2"') but what we saved on this rental we spent of great food throughout the country. Already recommended this company to our friends and family members they are a well run company.

We had a blast driving around Iceland in the revamped Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross. The car was great on all the roads we hit. Plus, Jon tossed me some super helpful tips. I was stoked with the service, and am so glad that review nudged me to pick Lava. Definitely spreading the word to others!

The driving experience was good but the passenger in the back seat said it was not comfortable at all. Good amount of luggage space but not much for a backseat passenger.

Everything was good, execpt the fuel door couldn’t open easily. I reported to the person when I checked out the car already.

The car was fine except for one major issue. When I picked up the car and drove away the low tire pressure light came on immediately. I went back into the rental office and told an employee. He came and looked at the tires and said they were fine and the sensor was just overly sensitive. I said one front tire looked low. He disagreed but I told him I wanted the pressure checked in all tires before I left with the car. He seemed annoyed at my request, but he took the car and checked the tire pressure. He said he put just a little air in one tire and it was fine. The next day the low tire pressure light came back on and one front tire was almost completely flat. We had to stop every single day, sometimes twice a day, to refill one or both front tires. It was extremely frusterating that the employee disregarded by concern, acted like I was being unreasonable, and then I had to deal with the stress and inconveneince of having bad tires when driving across the country in bad, rainy weather. When I dropped off the car I told that employee what happend and he was apologetic, but offered no discount or refund. Given the inconvienence of having to stop many times to refill the tires, and the stress it caused during the entire trip, a refund of some sort is clearly appropriate.

Overall the rental experience was great. The car was new and in a great condition. Easy pickup and dropoff. I did have a lot of difficulty in charging the car. At some places the right connector wasn't available and at others the car wouldn't charge (especially at N1 cc charging stations). Not sure if it's about the car or charging stations. Other than that didn't have any issues.
