Good

It's a low cost rental and it shows (the website, the process, the mileage of the car). But it works and saves you a lot of money. I'd rent with them again.

Outstanding!

Star Car Rental met us at the airport and helped with our luggage. Their paperwork was clear and simple. The Suzuki 4WD that we rented was clean and ready to go. We drove it over a thousand kilometers without any problems. The company's shuttle service was flawless, timely, and professional. Overall, we had a great rental experience and will us Star Car Rental on our next trip.

Very Good

Everything worked as expected. Location about 10mins from airport with shuttle provided. Vehicle and especially tires were not in very good shape, especially for F-Roads.

The vehicle was quite damaged on one side, so it felt not great driving a damaged car around Iceland, but otherwise the car itself was a good drive. I was not expecting a damaged car when I paid for the rental, a decent commercial gesture should have been to give me the choice of a reduce rental price by refunding me part of the amount I paid or providing me a non damage car (if same model is not available then a free upgrade).
