Outstanding!

Very reliable car, got my fiancée and I all the way around the ring road. Handled well in the snow. My only concern would be the winter tires and how frequently they are changed out. We didn’t have that many studs on the back tires and we could feel the car slightly drift on the icier section of the ring road in the higher passes. Other than that, I enjoyed our vehicle selection.

Rental process was easy. Someone came to pick us up at the airport and made it even easier. Drop off was efficient. I would rent with them again.

Good

It was very good. The vehicle was in excellent condition inside and the outside was very good as well, which when you consider some of the roads that you drive on in Iceland. I would recommend Iceland 4X4 rentals to anybody who needed a car for driving in Iceland. It always felt safe on even some of the snow covered and mountain roads. Send drive to me is far more enjoyable then booking a bus tour as it lets you go where you want and spend the time you want. I am very glad I chose Iceland 4x4 rentals for my 1 week trip. Excellent

The car was excellent and the attitude of the team was professional. The procedure for hiring and returning the car is very fast, and the transfer to the airport is convenient. The only note in my case was the lack of 3/4 of the spikes on the front tires, which did not affect the vehicle's behavior in any obvious way, but in real winter conditions, that's not good. I definitely recommend the company and I would certainly reap the benefits of it.

Too small for 5 Adults. Hard to find your office when returning the car. Big signs, please!

Fine

We chose Nordic Campers purely because they were the cheapest we could find, and I suppose you get what you pay for. It was not a bad camper van, it did the job, just don't expect anything fancy. It was an older and a bit beat-up Renault Trafic van. The equipment it came with was rather Spartan and a few more curtains and blinds would have been nice. Having said that, we didn't have any mechanical problems with it and it got us everywhere we wanted to get to, and in fact we had a brilliant holiday! I would recommend Nordic Campers for people wanting to do Iceland on a budget.

Outstanding!

We had a good experience. The service was really good at Northbound. There were some minor downsides. We ran out of gas for the stove before the end of the trip, there was nog bedsgeet around the matrass and we had nog water suply can. We experienced the Dokker as a nice car. There was a service light on the whole time but we had no trouble with it. Also is was unpossible to reachthe camping impliences from the inside of the car and not a lot of stuff to put things or belongings in. Overall we had a great time and loved the car.

Outstanding!

Our camper was great - no problems at all and it took us around Ring Road in mid-March. We had great service and Northbound was super accommodating and helpful with anything we called about - which wasn't much, because everything was great.
