It was a good value and handled just fine

I was very happy with the experience, the only thing that I would say is it would be an idea when possible to show how the night heater works etc. Our heater didn't work, and Our water stopped working as well. Staff were very good and service overall was good and I would book again if and when I come back

It's been great, the car works fine. Pick up was easy. Only dropping off the car was a little bit tricky because we didn't see the office. But all is well. Happy with the car and service.

The pick up part from the airport was a bit confusing as there were a lot of people with different signs. The driver from Icerental 4x4 was late, which caused some frustration. I would have liked to get an email in advance just explaining the procedure. Even though it’s probably stated somewhere we didn’t know about it at arrival (again my fault, but I’m guessing I’m not the only one with that experience) The car wasn’t in tip top shape, with multiple chips in the windshield and some rust spots. But besides that everything went well. I also found it weird that they needed to reserve the whole damage waiver amount on my card. I normally don’t have that much on my card and needed to transfer money around. I know that this probably is stated in the terms somewhere but I have never experienced it from other car rental companies. I would give Northbound a good rating, but the service and car from Icerental 4x4 wasn’t the best

We had an amazing trip the our little cozy campervan. The car was so easy to drive, no too fuel consuming and the sleeping bags were really warm. The check in and check out process was painfree.

Experience was great, after we landed on Keflavik airport, they picked us up and drove to the station, where we received our rented car. Everything was smooth and we even got a brand new car. There was no problem during the time we spent in Iceland. i also appreciated, they added my email address to the a generally generated email about the road/weather conditions in Iceland. This helped a lot during winter time ! Next time we return to Iceland, will definitely choose your service.

Very pleased with a quick efficient airport collection and dropping off car. The blogs of both Northbound and Lava rentals gave a lot of extremely interesting and useful information. The weather warnings from Lava rentals were also very useful. I have not come across this feature with a car rental company before and it is to be much applauded.

Was all good

Prompt and friendly pick up from our hotel at Keflavik to collect our car. We enjoyed driving our hire car which was clean and in great condition. Easy drop off after 2 weeks of driving in wonderful Iceland. We hired a car with your company last year so were happy to return again to you this year. Thank you.

I had an excellent experience with Star. Gunnar was very helpful and accommodating when I needed to extend my rental. Everything went very smoothly, communication was perfect and I can’t think of anything that would have made our experience smoother. Thank you!
