Excellent. Well looked after by the team

A very good experience with Lagoon Car Rental ! All the team is pro and helpfull ! My Dacia Duster was a 60.000km old car, little scratches but it's normal with all these tricky roads in Iceland :)

Van was good for the 4 adults and our bags. We liked having the yellow van as it was easy to spot. Could have used more info about seatbelts, heater and water drainage. Seals on windows and doors not great so noisy and cold. Check in was slow and headlight was out so took even longer to leave rental building. Had to call shuttle and wait for other party. Shuttle to airport was very quick.

Absolutey great experience with Lava Auto. The car was exactly as described and the company was so helpful and nice. They arranged for the car to be brought to us downtown rather than the airport (for a fair charge) and were very transparent. I highly recommend northbound services and especially lava auto. We had such a smooth first time car renting experience!

Car was in good condition, customer service was good, we did not have to wait long. Especially at drop off where we could simply leave the keys at the desk. Due to the company merge, we had to move to a different location when picking up our car.

Quick, efficient and reasonably priced. Received vehicle requested, not “or similar”.

The car got us to places, so no complaints there. However, it's very light though, so when there are strong winds (as there often are in Iceland, you can definitely feel the car shaking at high speeds). When we charged our phones or plugged an external battery pack in, it did unfortunately, affect the GPS system. As a result, we had to rely on our phone for directions.

Everyone at Nordic Campers was great. The camper itself was fine, but not anything like we were led to believe on the page when we booked it (or maybe we didn't read everything correctly). We had looked at other companies offering similiar cars and Nordic Campers was a bit cheaper so we went with them. However, looking at the many other campers we saw in Iceland, the Nordic Campers are by far the most bare-boned, so to speak. We had to beg for chairs, no camping table, had to pay extra for a food box, no storage near the beds (in the form of hanging bags or the like), no curtains, , we had just a uncovered mattress filling for a bed, and the list goes on and on. We had a good time and learned to love the camper but it was a rocky start and because of the lack of equipment we would perhaps not recommend Nordic Camper (although everyone at Nordic Camper was great and the service (pick-up and communication and the like) was great.

Everything was great. The pick up at the airport went smooth and the guys were very helpful. Sadly we were unlucky and at our second last day someone broke into the car in Reykjavík Skúlagata and stole all our stuff. But the staff was great and someone came by to assist us really quickly and was extremly nice and helpful. Would definitley recommend you and rent from you again. I used to live in iceland and my experience with you was exactly how I remember Icelandic people. Fun, helpful and honest. Thank you

Our experience with Lava Car Rental was fantastic. They picked us up at the airport and shuttled us back at the end of our trip. We had no issues at all. The vehicle was clean and there were no mechanical issues. We would highly recommend them to other travellers.
