Excellent

Our experience was great. The attendants were friendly and responsive and the car was in good shape. The check out process was a bit long and cumbersome because the forms needed to be filled out by hand but that will surely be fixed in the future with a computer based program. All things considered, the price savings more than made up for a bit slower process.

Fine

Fair experience. Orange Car Rental has merged and become Geysir. The car worked well, but it was dirty when I picked it up and one of the electrical outlets did not work. I also had reserved two cars for my party, but one of the reservations was lost. Fortunately, they were able to resolve that issue quickly.

Good

Our experience with Nordic Campers was good. We had to overcome a first general impression that was negative: 1 hour wait at the airport and unclear information about who would pick us up + 45 min wait at the rental place. A camper that did not match the model we chose online (no bed at the back, so we had to unfold the bed below the dining table every night) and that was older than expected. Yet at the end, Christos, the manager has been great: good explanation, available, honest, service oriented. He made of our experience a good one. We warmly recommend Christos and we hope that the above points mentioned will be improved: accurate camper pictures, differentiation between model, accurate information about the pick up, etc.

Outstanding!

Car rental experience was great. Car was clean and in like new condition. The car was cheap to run with the manual and diesel engine. Airport pick up and drop off was prompt. Would definitely rent a car from this company again.

Excellent

we had a really good experience with northbound/4x4. we‘ve booked a suzuki jimny with a roof tent. i would recomment everybody a gravel protection because there are many unpaved roads in iceland. with the rooftent came the whole camping gear, which was really fine. only the sleepingbags were a bit old and i recommend to bring your own, if you want to be sure that you‘re staying warm during the nights. all in all i would book again with northbound/4x4

Excellent

Overall a good experience. We had a delay in getting picked up but not bad. They got us right to airport upon our return at the early hour of 5am. Would use again. Shuttle drivers were nice and helpful.

Excellent

We had an amazing time in Iceland and the van we rented suited our needs perfectly. Staff were great, very efficient and in less than an hour after landing we were on our way. We had everything we needed in that little van and were really surprised by the comfort and space we had. Also great on diesel, although it wasn't our first choice. We had a Dacia Dokka, if you want fancy bells and whistles pay more for the frills - but if you want good service and a cracking van that will go for miles and let you see this beautiful country then I would highly recommend.

Outstanding!

We had the most incredible road trip around Iceland and found something amazing around every corner. Northbound's platform rent and Star Car Rental were great. Always replying quickly to any questions I had. The only thing I would change is having a few more days. 7 days was abit of a rush!
